The team at Hardee’s was very helpful and they worked well together, they were friendly, efficient, and willing to go above and beyond for their customers. The manager, Rita-Anne, did a great job of managing her crew as well as handling an additional situation that cancer up while I was getting treat to leave. An individual came into the store and onto the property screaming and yelling (fully aware he was trespassing on the property) and she handled it by being firm, unwilling to allow him to cause more of a commotion and yet she was kind enough to speak to him in such a way that she did only what was necessary to resolve the situation. She kept it away from the customers to the best of her ability so as not to antagonize him or frighten the customers. I had the pleasure of speaking with her for a few moments before I left and I believe she’s doing a wonderful job! I come across a lot of different restaurants and crews and managers and situations while I am working for DoorDash and I can say with certainty that the majority of the time things are unorganized and chaotic. No one seems willing to or knows how to take charge and set a good example, but that was not the case this morning. I was very impressed with the way things were handled, the way that I was treated, and the way that the employees treated one another. I would love to see more establishments who put their customers first and handle themselves with respect, dignity and handle their responsibilities in such a way that it makes people want to come back to visit!! Read moreWe went to grab a bite around 7pm on Friday. Went into the dining area and saw one other family dining as well. Placed our order which included 1 chicken tender (3Piece) combo meal, 1 hot ham and cheese sandwich, 1 Swiss and mushroom burger and 2 additional drinks... Totally over $20. While standing at the counter we noticed the dessert display complete with a dried out and moldy apple pie.
We sat down and waited for our food. At that time the other family spilled a full soda and approached the counter for assistance to clean it up. They were instructed to grab napkins and clean it up themselves. They stated that they needed more than the napkins and they were walked to the napkin dispenser and told it was just filled... And they needed to use that. The family grabbed most of the napkins since it was a large drink and started the mop up process. After several handfuls and lots of mopping... With the crew watching from behind the counter and never offering to help, the family put back the remaining napkins and left.
By this time our order arrived and it was incorrect. We sent the wrong sandwich back for a correction. As the crew member returned to the counter she noticed the extra napkins replaced by the family and started to complain loudly about how they were slobs and she couldn't believe they did something like that. She was very loud and rude as she voiced her opinion to her crew leader.
We became very uncomfortable and I can tell you that we will not be returning. I don't blame the family. Spills happen and they asked for help, but were turned away and then berated for mopping...
Read moreIf I could leave a 0 I would I went through the drive thru tonight and ordered a bigger meal, when I got to the window employee forgot my drink I kindly asked her if I could have it, she gave it to me with and attitude, I pulled off to the side and checked my bag I then realized I was missing fries, she rudely said then pull around to the window when I got to the window employee shoved the bag at me and said when you have a big order you need to come through the lobby I was like I shouldn’t have to when drive thru is there for a reason she then said well I shouldn’t have to keep refilling my fry bin because you ordered multiple fry’s, I was like that’s your job mam and I have three babies in my backseat I can’t physically come in and if you wanted that to happen you should have told me that at the speaker when I ordered so that I could have gone else where! not when I came back to inform you that you forgot some items on my meal! I asked employee for her name and she told me no that due to your policy she doesn’t have to give her name, which is untrue! and she refused to give me a receipt,she then slammed the window shut I then called up to the store and asked again for employee name and she refused to give me her name, I feel like the employee was disrespectful and handled the situation very wrong! And no paying customer should be treated the way she treated me I spent $80 dollars at this location to be treated rudely! Not the best picture because she was hiding...
