Was REFUSED SERVICE at the drive through because the restaurant didn't feel like taking any to go orders. The only reason for this was because they where busy. That's no excuse, I worked in the restaurant industry for over 5 years as well as customer service. There's absolutely no excuse to shut down a drive threw no matter how busy you are. It's the restaurantsr responsibility to make sure they have enough staff to operate the restaurant, if I was the manager there I personally would have gotten into the window and operated the drive through MYSELF! The fact that they didn't, and just straight up refused service is appalling, unprofessional and just flat out stupid to do. The staff here including the manager in charge of the employees are some of the rudest, most incompetent employees I've ever witnessed in my entire life. I would not eat here if it was the last place on earth, not until things change at this location.
If you like Bojangles I would literally recommend any location but this one. If I was the manager here, and if someone important enough in the business happens to read this. You need to fire your entire staff, close down the restaurant for a week and completely rehire a new staff for the restraunt.
The staff also very frequently uses profanity in front of the customers inside of the restaurant. Coming from someone who has manager experience as well.. This is a sad and pathetic way to run a restaurant and there's absolutely no excuse. I'm fairly certain if DHEC was to come in unannounced you WOULD NOT PASS DHEC REGULATIONS. YOUR RESTRAUNT STAFF NEEDS TO GO AND GET SERVE SAFE CERTIFIED AGAIN BECAUSE THEY FORGOT EVERYTHING, or just don't care enough to follow it.
To everyone who's read this far, hope you have a great day! :)
@THE OWNER: NO I WILL NOT CLICK YOUR LINK, I'm not giving you my personal information. If you want that you can give me your number and I would be happy to talk to you personally on the phone :) or you can provide me with your email. Regardless sending me to a suspicious and unknown link is NOT good customer service and NOT a proper way to deal with customer related issues. You talk to them, and you genuinely listen to there complaint and then you resolve the issue, that's good customer service AND not the VERY OBVIOUS copy and paste response that you keep giving people who have the EXACT SAME COMPLAINT I DO.
BECAUSE YES, I am fully capable of reading your "OWNERS RESPONSE" on all these other complaints for the same exact issues. This along with the fact that the issue STILL isn't fixed. To me only PROVES that the owner has lost interest in this location and simply no longer cares if it goes under or not. To each there own, I'm sure it will close soon enough and another food chain will take it's place if things remain the way they...
Read moreHorrible customer service by the young employees in the drive thru area!! I came to drive thru around 9:30pm, placed my order, and was also told that they were closing so could not make or put in a order of boberry biscuits. Ok, cool. Drove around to the window, the young lady was very nonchalant. Took my payment, and handed me my food. Upon checking order, the fries were cold, undercooked, and greasy. I tried to get someone's attention. Two young ladies walked past the window twice, and both times acknowledged I was at the window, even after blowing my horn. The young lady that took my order finally came back to the window, and I asked for fresh fries. I guess this sparked an outrage because they all seemed to have a conversation about having to drop fries at 9:35pm. Got the fries back and was ok, until i noticed a biscuit was missing. I verified with the girl if one did in fact come with the meal and she was very condescending in her response to try to make me feel little. I then asked for a refund because at this point I am fed up. She shuts the door and I see her and the other young ladies standing there looking at me talking and laughing. I understand that they close at 10, however, there was ample enough time to correct my order without any attitude, but wasn't. I asked if she could place the unwanted food in the trash and she tells me no. There was no trash can in the parking lot, and I did not want to be rude (despite how I was treated) and just throw it on the ground, so I placed it on the window seal. I guess this made them upset, so she begins to mumble words under her breath. The shift manager, who was very pleasant, tries to rectify the situation, and offer fresh food, but I declined. Those employees need to be trained better, and if they don't like their jobs, need to quit because it's giving the...
Read moreOn my way through SC, I was craving a Bojangles biscuit breakfast. I scoured my route for a location that didn't have a 3.5 or below review average. Found this location and gave it a go. (Was 3.9)
There were about 8 cars in the drive thru, so I decided to take my chances inside at the counter. The line inside moved at a acceptable pace, but the young woman taking the orders this morning looked like she had been chugging sleep medicine or maybe recently lobotomized. She stared a few feet in front of her at the ground and didn't look up once during the 4 orders I saw her take. No *good morning", or even a smile or a "hello". All I got was "here or to go?" from a few feet before she was at the counter as she walked towards me. I placed my order, and she walked off before I could even finish paying for my order (using the card reader you'd see at a gas station). She never came back, so I took my receipt from the machine. That kind of sealed the deal for giving them a 1 out of 5 for service. Pretty rude.
The order was mostly right thankfully, and the cinnamon biscuits were tasty. I asked for a large coffee and got a soda cup. After my initial service impression, I just took it and got a soda. (The Cheerwine dispenser was broken :( ). Not sure if they expected me to put boiling hot coffee in a thin wax lined cup, or if they don't even have a large coffee option.
I should have known I was making a mistake when I stepped over a Magnum condom wrapper leaving the car to walk inside the restaurant, but I was hungry enough to put that out of my mind.
The other reviews are right. Service is definitely lacking, but the food is mostly as expected. I'm truly bummed that no location within 100 miles seems to be able to adhere to even a basic level of customer service. I won't...
