I’d just like to start this off by saying that I have been eating at jins hibachi for over 5 years now. And the costumer service hasn’t ever really been great especially from the owner James. He sounds very aggressive when he answers the phone and once when he took my order I asked if he could mix two sauces for my wings he said “ew are you sure you want to do that”. I just felt like that was very unprofessional considering the comment its self was unnecessary, is it not their job to cook the food people pay for ? There was also a time last year when I had ordered food for pick up , I got there and he claimed he had thrown it away since I took longer than 30 minutes to come and get it.….The food here is good. Just don’t come to Jins thinking you will get treated with good customer service because you wont. But the young lady who works there I think her name is Morgan she’s so nice and actually took the time to notice I came in regularly and asked for my name. Read moreI hate to report it because Jin's is usually one of my favorite take-out japenese restaurants but I just had a bad experience with their food for the first time. I ordered vegetable fried rice with added $2.00 shrimp. Have had many times before with excellent results. This time the rice seemed like it was cooked yesterday and reheated. The texture was dry with some dried out peas and carrots masquerading as as the vegetables. And a few, maybe 5 small shrimp sprinkled across the top. I was VERY disappointed. I know things may be hard with the shut down, but I still think your customers expect consitently good food if you are going to be open. Read moreAt one time I rated them five stars but the last few times I ate there the food has been bad. The steak used in the hibachi is neither filet or ribeye. It taste like a cheap sirloin or worse. I called to request a refund and advised that I would bring the uneaten food back the next day for the refund and was told by the owner I had to bring it back right now or I couldn't get my money back. I explained that it was not possible to bring it right now and I would bring it back to him the next day. He told me to take a picture of the food and text it to him to prove that I didn't eat it and he would give me a store credit.
