Dale's BBQ — Restaurant in Boaz

By far the worst customer service I've ever had!!! The girl was rude from the jump. They offer a picnic area but the parking lot is so tiny and small there was nowhere to park. We had to sit in the back back parking lot to eat far away from the deck with the tables bc my mom is handicap and has trouble walking. We wanted to sit at the tables but as I said the distance was so far. We each bought a tea and before leaving i asked for a refill and the lady was so rude and hateful about a refill. She said if my handicap mother would've sat on her deck they would've given us a refill but bc she had to sit in her car in the back parking lot & didn't sit at their table they wouldn't give a refill. Unbelievable and disgusting these little girls talk to customers this way and do their customers like this. Seriously horrible people, rude, hateful, evil working there. Hopefully the owners will hire someone with a little compassion for those unfortunate that has a disability. I tried to talk to them but they absolutely refused 💯 NO we are not going to refill your tea. Hateful people discriminating against handicap people and don't try to say yall were anything but rude and nasty...

We usually really enjoy Dale’s BBQ in Boaz. However last night when I came through to order, the woman at the window was apparently in a bad mood, and was kind of rude to me for some reason as I was ordering. I really don’t get it, if you hate your job so bad then why bother coming in? Beyond that, 2 BBQ potatoes and 1 order of BBQ Nachos costed me 30 something dollars !! So I asked if that came with any sides and was given a mean look and a quick no. Even after so many red flags, I still decided to go through with the order, my wife would’ve been super disappointed if I came home empty handed! Food wasn’t cold and didn’t have any off taste, it just wasn’t that good. My stomach did churn though when my wife pulled a hair from hers! For starters, its a nice little hole in the wall (where good BBQ calls home). They have 2 drive-thru windows and some benches for outside seating if that's your preference. I ordered 2 Rib plates, both with Baked Beans and Potato Salad. The ribs were perfect. Seasoning was great, it wasn't fall off the bone but wasn't so tough that you'd have to knaw on the bone, more along the lines of bite, twist, and toss the bone. Baked Beans never disappoint, and the Potato Salad was very good as well. The BBQ sauce isn't sweet or sticky, it's vinegar based with some heat added to it. The ribs were so good that I forgot to add the sauce however, it made for a great dipping sauce for the roll. Had to head back for some of the banana pudding, which I was surprised they weren't out of it after I took a bite, it was that good.
