Funky Monkey Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Boaz

I’m pregnant and crave shaved ice constantly and we went here and she gave me a large plain ice for $1.00!! I didn’t realize what a bargain that was until I went to SnoBiz the next day when Funky Monkey was closed for a family emergency and they charged me $5 at SB for a large PLAIN ice. I also got a cotton candy shaved ice at FM and it was honestly the best tasting of any cotton candy shaved ice I’ve ever had and trust me when I say that because it’s the only flavor I ever get from anywhere. It didn’t have any weird after tastes or anything and I will gladly drive the extra 20 minutes to get my shaved ice from Funky Monkey than go anywhere else! So many choices! They have many sizes ranging from $1 to $5. But we got a couple of the smalls which are $2 and they were pretty big size. Some of my kids haven't trouble finishing it.
