S&R Sewing & Vacuum Center Inc Boaz AL — Local services in Boaz

My husband dropped off my sewing machine at the Boaz store in April and it was ready for pick up in early May which would have been good service if I had only known. They said they called me several times to let me know but I never got the message. I called them several times to check on the status but all my calls were sent to voicemail and no call was ever returned my calls. Today I called the Huntsville office and they transferred the call to the Boaz store and I finally got to talk to someone. He never apologized for the problem and said it was not his fault I didn’t get the messages. I don’t believe the phone worked properly and I thought he should have accepted some responsibility for the situation. I will never do business with the Boaz...

I have been very disappointed with S&R Sewing. I took one of my Singer sewing machines in for service and repair. Ended up having to take it back to them as it was not fixed. Bottom line is, the machine still is not fixed and 2 different technicians worked on it. I felt like my machine issues were not a priority to the owner. During the back and forth, I took a 2nd Singer in for repair and it was serviced and repaired with no trouble. I am not sure why my 1st machine was not fixed, I had even asked if it was a lost cause and not fixable.
