Chick 'n Chop on the Grill — Restaurant in Boca Raton

Served my husband gyro meat so crusty and hard it was inedible. However, that is not the reason for this review as he already left one (which he would have gladly removed had they reached out and offered to replace it or refund him). My review is in regard to their professionalism in responding to his review. They didn’t. They simply ignored it. The meat was hard, dry, discolored and crusty. They took the time to thank everyone who left a positive review while completely ignoring their mistake, even as pictures were posted with the review CLEARLY showing it was inedible. Furthermore, they confronted another individual who works in the same building as my husband and had no association in regard to the review (my guess is they don’t get much business and attributed the crusty gyro to his order). As a business owner myself, I’m more disgusted at the fact that they chose to ignore his valid complaint rather than keep a customer who works 100ft away and would have become a regular even if only out of convenience. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s how we go about making it right that defines our moral. Big loss over $10.. my husband orders lunch for his office every Wednesday and Friday. Guess who he won’t be ordering from? Horrible gyro, horrible customer service. Zero stars, do NOT recommend!!

PS Maybe The Department of Business and Professional Regulation needs to see pictures of what they serve since the owner obviously finds it...

To all: This place is the best of the best of the best. Last night I had ordered my regular Greek Salad with Grape leaves and a side of rice. I had ordered through Uber eats and for some reason the delivery guy didn't deliver my food to me. He had sent a picture however when I opened the door. No food!! I was like What? no food? Anyway I had called the Uber line and left a message for the delivery guy and no response from him to even rectify the situation. Uber however called to see if it was ok if the owner of Chick N Chop could call me and deliver my order himself. I said sure. The owner called me and went out of his way to deliver my order to me after the Uber driver was missing in action. I think that is the best customer service I've ever had. He didn't have to do that. I give this place * 5 stars without a doubt. The food is always fresh and I love Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. It is my favorite and this place always delvers the best. Thanks Mr. Chick N Chop and employees in the Boca location!!! You made my Monday...

Food is great. Service when present is great. Atmosphere needs a lot of work.

You guys have fantastic food. But the restaurant needs a lot of touch, love and care. I understand all restaurants have pests but the owners need to maintain the appearance of the restaurant. The place needs a lot of cleaning. I did see lumber so im assuming the business is maybe remodeling, but what did make me wanna run away was the dead pests i found after looking around while waiting. Although i did pay and then found the surprises later. To give benefit of the doubt what i saw come out of the kitchen is not what i expected to receive after what i saw.

Good food but please clean up the place. Id like an alternative to pollo tropical and you guys...
