Incredible experience working with Stan and Bella at Bashert Jewelry! For my engagement ring we had a specific vision in mind and so identifying a specialist in custom design was our priority. The feeling of trust and understanding we felt with Stan upon our first meeting was essential for us to agree to move forward and work with Bashert Jewelry. Stan has a warm, calm demeanor and an ability to listen carefully and interpret your custom design preferences in a most intuitive manner befitting of an experienced artist and master gold smith. We both left the initial in-person consultation (where Stan arrived prepared with sketches and wax molds) feeling comfortable with the compatibility of vision + ease of communication that we believed essential to moving forward to the design and production phase.

We had a very clear vision of the design of the ring, allowing the central diamond to remain the star of the show. The ring is an emerald-cut solitaire with a pave band. Stylistically, this is somewhat simple and not an overtly uncommon design, but we had seen several iterations of this style in showrooms and online lacking small custom elements we were seeking. Stan patiently answered our questions while making certain all parties remained on the same page as the design developed in phases. Stan will provide detailed 3D digital renderings that allow you to analyze the design from multiple custom angles. There is no rushing or steering at any point of the design phase.

It is clear that Stan is only concerned with interpreting your artistic directions so that your ring is true to the original vision. He was extremely patient as we requested various renditions with minor tweaks to different elements of the ring until both of us felt 100% comfortable that the render was a perfect representation of the desired outcome from all angles. Stan is happy to involve you in the process and our design journey allowed us to meet with him multiple times, which was great.

We wished for a higher quality of pave diamonds than is typical and Stan was able to source these easily. We hoped for a thinner pave band and Stan expertly advised us as to the limit of the band width without compromising the stability of the setting. The sizing of the ring was perfect and it fits like a dream. Finally, Bella and Stan will even film videos of your custom engagement ring being crafted in the workshop. These are a behind-the-scenes look of your vision coming to life and were very meaningful to us! I also have each round of design renditions saved, from start to finish.

The final product (which we received two days ago) is stunning. It is a miracle of design interpretation. For a couple that put so much thought into this process, it was delightful to find someone who had the skill and temperament to make something that could be potentially stressful so wonderful and memorable instead. Also worth mentioning is the fact that we found Stan’s quote to be entirely reasonable relative to the discussions we had with others. Truly, Bashert Jewelry is the best of all worlds. The ring is drop-dead gorgeous! We have been staring at it nonstop!

We are delighted and thrilled to have found Stan and Bella to help us with this part of our journey. After my initial purchase, I realized that when it comes to fine Jewelry, "Bashert" is the way to go. For my 2nd, "consignment" I was looking for something a bit different from Bashert's already unique, Past, Present and Future design. Stan gladly accepted the challenge and worked tirelessly to design EXACTLY what I was looking for. The intricate work that was necessary to achieve my wishes was executed with the skill of a surgeon. From finding superb stones to the delicate gold inlay on the Platinum band was achieved with an excellence only possible from an Artisan who takes extreme pride in his work. One whose priority is to provide a lifelong keepsake and symbol of the Love 2 people have for each other. Stan got it EXACTLY right. To top it all off, a Bargain that one would have a hard time finding elsewhere, if found at all. Bashert's way of giving their customers that, "personal" touch and individualized attention truly makes their clients feel, "Special", just like the Artistic creations that they produce. You’re talking to a veteran jeweler who actually designs and hand creates rings himself; he can provide very unique and beneficial perspectives. From the initial designs, to the 3D model, to the video of the ring being made, you can tell that Stan has a passion for his craft and is willing to give you the best experience. He really showed his prowess when he helped me design a beautiful custom engagement ring.

He educated me beyond the 4Cs, and worked with me to select the most exquisite diamond, set in a custom ring design that met my budget. It was very special because I was taking part in the ring design process, rather than just picking out a pre-made ring.

Stan has excellent communication. He was always quick to respond to any emails or texts that I had. I asked a ton of questions, and he answered them all with kindness and clarity. He was always patient with me and ensured I was confident with the ring.

The ring came out AMAZING…and now I have a fiancé! We will forever treasure this meaningful ring together. It was more beautiful than we could’ve imagined.
