Lucky Express — Restaurant in Boca Raton

They don't know the difference between delivery and pick up. They try and make you come and pick up the food after you ordered delivery and paid the delivery fee. The lady keeps screaming that " you don't understand nothing." and contines to just scream for no apparent reason, and yell over you and then when she feels like stopping her yelling rant she then hangs up. I suggest Anger Management perhaps. We paid them and they said we didn't and then they figured out we did pay, and we had confirmation of payment. Then they said ohh yes we did receive your payment. We ended up having a nice American meal instead, lot less salt, much healthier. Never again. If you do give them a try, and the lady answers be prepared to be yelled at. The man is a little more sensible but feel bad for him, from what I understand its his wife and he has to live and work with her. If I could give them a -1 FOR customer Service I would. Don't make the lady mad. I would like to have a reality show of this restaurant on candid camera and see what goes on...

This used to be my go-to Chinese restaurant for almost 10 years, until they recently (within a year or two) came under new ownership. I could immediately taste the difference, It just hasn't been as good as it used to be. I stopped ordering from them for a while because my food was consistently not tasting good but decided to give them another try tonight to see if anything has changed or gotten better. I ordered the hunan beef dinner combo, my first bite I chewed up and literally spat out. My beef tasted like AMMONIA. Second piece of beef, same thing. Third and fourth piece of beef were okay, but I had to "investigating-ly" smell them before eating them. You could actually smell the difference. There is absolutely no reason why my food should taste like ammonia. I couldn't/didn't want to finish my meal. Between the ammonia taste and the cheapness of the food quality in general, I will never eat at lucky express again, unless the old...

I don’t know whether I’m more shocked or upset at the treatment that I’ve just received for this place. I’ve never had any major issues before. Few I had were minor and corrected by a woman who usually takes the orders. Today my friends and I called to place an order for delivery, we usually have about 3-7 orders at a time. Today a gentleman answered and asked if was doing pick up or delivery. I advised it would be delivery. He stated we do not do delivery today and hung up on me. Before I can even say okay we will pick it up, because I am aware that some days they don’t have a driver which forces one of the owners to deliver. But to just hang up on me and not give a chance to even respond is beyond disrespectful. I would NEVER eat here again nor will I refer anyone to this business. They should be shamed to have anyone working at this establishment who treats paying customers in...
