McDonald's — Restaurant in Boca Raton

I went thru the drive-thru at this mcdonald's the other day about 10:30 p m. I ordered a double big mac and a large diet coke. I drove straight home got my food out and my sandwich was cold. I took a bind out of it and it was horrible. Immediately pick up my cell phone and called the restaurant. The manager that answered the phone when I told her what was wrong. Act up like she could not hear me and hung up the phone on me. I called back and she hung up the phone on me again and told me that I was being rude for telling her that the food is bad. I asked you speak to the manager and charge. And she refused to tell me her name or put me in touch with that manager. She told me she was going to call the supervisor and ask me to hold on. I said I would and then she hung up the phone on me again. I called back again and she's proceeded to talk and tell me that she didn't care about what was wrong with my food and that I needed to call someone else. When I kept asking her what her name was. She then again kepsaying that she couldn't hear me. But someone standing next to her told her exactly what I said and said that the phone is working fine. My family has been in the McDonald's business since the 60s. And I have never experienced anything like this. My father work for the corporate offices in chicago and also was a franchise owner. So I do have a good understanding. How a mcdonald's should operate and how they should treat the customers. I would never go back to this mcdonald's again. Nice location but service has gone so far downhill we are done. We live less than a mile from this location for 6 years now. When we started, the food was hot and correct, the managers were always smiling and friendly and the staff were on par with average McDonald's service. These days it is very different. I would venture to say they cannot find good employees or retain them because out of the last 5 visits only one did we get our correct order at the correct price. The managers are still there to clean up the employee screw ups. It just starts bad and ends bad. You go to the order board "What you want?" No welcome to McDonald's how many I help you. They then proceed to incorrectly input the items you ordered one at a time. You get that fixed. No reading of total or acknowledging existence. Pull up to window to find that two plain biscuits are somehow $9. Nope the heck out and the manager wants to fix it. Pull to spaces ahead for 5 mins. Rinse repeat. To the managers/franchisee I know finding good help is hard these days but keep trying and don't be afraid to fire the ones that don't try. They have dragged your business down and it is super frustrating to think "man, this was a long day I just want a big Mac and a coke and hit the couch" before remembering how irate myself or my partner become just trying to get a drive thru meal. Stopped here on a road trip and ordered four happy meals and two adult meals. Used my app and asked for table service because we have disabled members in our party but was told they didn’t know where our table number was and we had to come to the front to get it. The girl at the front had a bad attitude the whole time. I asked to refill one cup twice and was told I was not allowed. I had just thrown away my other cup so I told them I’ll just get it out of the trash because I need another refill and we spent a lot of money so we felt like we deserved to be able to refill the second cup. The manager said he would refill it but with the utmost attitude and then only allowed us to have half a glass refill. We decided to use the restroom before we left and there was poop all over the toilet. I would definitely not come back to this location and I would never recommend this location. I have never been to a McDonald’s where you aren’t allowed to refill the cup you were using and the attitudes from the staff were absolutely horrendous. It made me not want to even go to a...
