My recent visit to Vale Food Co was deeply disappointing and frustrating on multiple levels. To begin with, the food quality was shockingly poor. What is marketed as a premium, health-conscious alternative turned out to be nothing more than overpriced bowls reminiscent of fast food chains like Chipotle — but without the consistency or flavor. The meat was dry and unpleasant, the rice was undercooked and hard, and everything had an odd aftertaste, as though it had been cooked on an unclean grill or sprayed with some kind of cleaning chemical.

To make matters worse, the service was careless. The staff forgot an entire entrée from my order, forcing me to return to the store. Upon returning, they then failed to include the dessert I had also paid for. This led to multiple trips back and forth, each time with no sense of urgency or apology from the team.

This lack of attention to detail is unacceptable, especially when you’re charging premium prices. The overall environment and food presentation did not reflect the cost or the brand’s intended image. For those looking for a quality, health-oriented dining experience, I highly recommend Pura Vida instead. The atmosphere is consistently clean and inviting, the food is fresh and flavorful, and—perhaps most impressively—they’ve never once made a mistake with my orders, even when I’ve placed four or more items at a time.

In short, I will not be returning to Vale Food Co. The quality control, customer service, and culinary standards all fell far below...

My original review is below at the bottom. Updated review: I have been back 4 times since my initial visit. Each time there was a food quality or shortage issue at a time of day when there should not have been. My biggest issue and the reason I can no longer eat here is their inability to provide nutrition information. I understand that Florida law does not require them to disclose their ingredients/nutritional info since they are still under 20 locations, BUT for a food establishment that sells itself on being, in their own words, a "Health Food Restaurant", this is unheard of. I am on a specialized diet now, and asked all 4 times for any kind of ingredient list or calories/macros.... NOPE. Nothing on their website either anywhere. If you are at all calorie conscious, be careful with all the sauces, rice, creams and more. That "healthy bowl" has more calories, carbs and sugars than you think. Too bad, because when the food was stocked and not dry and old sitting out ...it was delicious.

Came in for the first time tonight. What a stunning atmosphere. Clean, modern but with brightness and warmth from the plants and decor. The guy assisting me was so patient with all my questions and had me sample some selections to make my choice easier. Their portions are BIG. So pleasantly suprised by this.
