This is a really nice place to come and hang out. Unfortunately the weekend that we went, the donut and coffee place was closed. Next time we go, we are excited to try that out. The live music was great, the setup around the area is very cool as well. They have a variety of different seating options, food options, drink options, TVs, etc. There are fans throughout the property so it is very comfortable, even in the heat. We will for sure be back!!!
There are only two things that are negative about this place. The first is that they allow smoking, even right next to the kids playground. That's a pretty huge negative. Most places have caught up with the times and not allowed smokers to smoke at their establishments. The other is that the kids area is right next to the parking lot and there is not any gates to protect kids from running out into the parking lot. There were several instances were small kids ran into the parking lot for a ball or something and their parents, looking away for a few seconds, had to be alerted....
Read moreWe love The Point! Been going there for over 10 years since we moved into the area. It’s always a relaxing vibe with cool music. 🎶 They always have excellent gourmet food trucks; bar service is great; the artwork & decor is rad; free books for customers; and the owners, Noel and Denise, are always very nice and friendly; and so are all the people who work there. I wanted to thank the customer but they had left already. If they read this, thank you so much! And it’s just a testament to the cool people who hang out at The Point Park and to all the people who work...
Read moreThis is a relaxed chill vibe to hang out with friends or bring the whole family. There’s separate areas so if you come to have a beer it’s on the other side of the building from the kids area. A plus for me. There’s food trucks to offer a variety of bites, but not sure if they rotate or are permanent so luck of the draw on what’s there. The coffee is from a local roaster so I like that it’s supporting small business, there were only two pastry options so limited if you want breakfast or something more filling. The dirty chai was excellent! It’s rated that baristas know what his is let alone it be on the menu, while they use a mix for the chai it tastes fresh and flavorful. Not overpowering. It’s a little further away from the accessibility of highways and I like a quieter coffee spot is why I knocked it down...
