Brewer's Haven — Restaurant in Boise

I was really sad when they closed their Nampa location but they have great stuff! I went in to get ingredients to brew my own Gluten Free IPA and found just about everything I needed at a decent price. Their small lounge area was really cool and wish I could have stayed to have a drink. I believe that the lounge is just a place to sit and try the beers you've just bought. I'm unsure if you can bring hour own home brewed beer inside. The crowd there seemed really friendly and genuinely excited about cool beers! They also have one of the best gluten free beer selections I've seen in the Boise area. They have three types of omission (not actually gluten free but gluten reduced). They had Green's gluten free beers from Belgium which are normally really hard to find. Gluten Free Beer can be tough to find in general so I was really excited to find their side selection of Beers I could actually enjoy as a person with Celiac Disease. I was really satisfied with the service, the selection, and the atmosphere. I only wish they had more locations around the treasure valley! On a long distance trip I decided to stop and see if I could find more Idaho beers than just I could get personally and I found a generous amount! Although I was not approached to ask if I needed anything specific, when I asked a question, the service team member was more than happy to answer my questions and help me look for what I wanted. I did not go away disappointed. What I found most interesting was their use of stickers. The bathroom was absolutely clean and gratefully I was allowed to utilize it. I love that they just put stickers all OVER the bathroom. I wish I hadn't been driving so I could try some of their on tap offerings, but if you get there and can drink, try! :D It's so nice to drink and shop. This place is a GEM!!!! It reminds me of some really cool and hip joints in Pacific Beach San Diego. The only thing missing is the beach. It's like Cheers. Help yourself to the beer they sell, and hang out and drink it. Watch a game. Bullshit with everyone there. Has an amazing vibe, and people are there to chat it up. The variety of beer is rare! Super friendly staff. They have a record player and play some iconic music. It's a store but MUCH MORE! I haven't found a place like this in years. It's a MUST-see place. Dog friendly as well.
