Eastside Tavern — Restaurant in Boise

The bouncer was on a big power trip last night. My friend and I went to the bar and waited in line for 20 minutes to get a drink the check came out to 8 dollars and my friend tipped 4 dollars. A drunk guy next to us started saying how my friend was being disrespectful for not tipping and I tried showing him how he tipped over 50% but he wasn’t listening to me. The drunk guy goes over to the bouncer and tells him my friend was being disrespectful. The bouncer very aggressively grabs my friends drink out of his hand and throws it away then grabs him by the shoulders and pushes him out the front door. I walked over to the bouncer to try and see what was happening and he started to get verbally aggressive with me for absolutely no reason. Not sure we will ever feel comfortable again to go back after how horribly we were treated for no reason. The only reason I did give one star is because the bartender was nice but besides that...

Awesome bar, fun games and cheap drinks however, I'm pretty sure one of the bartenders STOLE from my tab. Me and my boyfriend went to Eastside on Halloween and my tab was only $9. I tipped $5, so my total was only $14. When I checked my bank statement, I had a -$9 from Eastside Tavern on the 31st and another -$20 from Eastside Tavern the same night. I HAD NOT AUTHORIZED any removal of $20 from my account by this establishment. I HAD NOT gotten any cash back and had NOT signed two receipts authorizing anything let alone two separate removals of money. It's a shame because we really liked this place. This place is actually filled with THIEVES who will ROB YOU! Will never go back. Can't even trust the bartender....Lucky I'm just writing this review and not conducting any further investigation. 10/10 would recommend as long as Ragnar is there. Cutest guy in the bar hands down. Really good with the ladies, a total stud. He will listen to your problems, and would never judge you. He will give you love, and wet kisses, at no extra charge. Would you get that at any other bar? Nope. Because there's only one cutie patootie pie chocolatey Ragnar. He honestly deserves a raise, and to be employee of the month every MONTH. I guess his dad is okay too, unless you want him to try out a certain video game...then he'll feed empty promises, and continue playing his lame sports games. On the plus side Ragnar's dad makes really good drinks, and the prices are hands down the best in town. If you're into mixed drinks I suggest you try their Purple Viking, Apple AMFs, and sex...
