I was initially sceptical about ordering food from the Season Wok due to the previous reviews by locals. So, like a good Samaritan I ordered a few appetizers and an entree to see for myself. Appetizers:: Bobo Platter - The Bobo Platter came with an abundance of appetizers from their menu: Pork and Seeds, Won Ton, and Krab Rangoon. The pork was somewhat dry, but definitely not moist or savory. The Won Ton was unbearable to eat by itself. I recommend dipping it in Hot Mustard sauce. As for the Krab Rangoon, it was the most delicious out of the three from this Platter. The ratio between breading and Krab was on point. Egg Roll - The egg roll was a bit on the "pricey side" when compared with other Appetizers. The taste was substantial, but I recommend finding a Sweet Chilli sauce to give a little more flavor... Entree:: Mandarin Chicken - The Mandarin Chicken was my entree of choice. It was accompanied by steamed rice. There is the option to "upgrade" from plain White Rice to Fried Rice. But, it will cost you a couple dollars. The chicken was overpowered by the Sweet and Sour sauce provided. Although, the texture was very pleasant and to my liking. Summary:: All in all, this Chinese Restaurant isn't the worst experience I've come across, but it definitely isn't close to being the best. Majority of the foods are priced fairly (in my opinion). I feel like other reviewers are too harsh when it comes to what they expect from here. You get what you pay for.

1 of the better & more authentic affordable Chinese food in Boise, with good service. The family are good people earning a living. My partner & I go there every Sun after church for lunch. Now they've expanded their range of food to include Japanese, with sashimi & sushi in generous portions. The sashimi slices are fresh, big & thickly cut. Sushi are great too. Prices are reasonable compared to other Japanese restaurants. We ordered the Chinese set lunch together with the sashimi & sushi. For everything, we spent $25 per person before tipping, which is highly reasonable.

Best bbq pork fried rice I’ve ever had in my life! I got the almond chicken with gravy as an entree and it was fresh and hot and crispy when it was delivered. The potstickers are good too!! One of the best Chinese food restaurants I’ve ever had in general. Will be eating there again and I highly recommend it! Great prices also.

WOW! I haven't had such a terrible encounter with a business in a long time. I am a Doordash Driver. I picked up from this restaurant and went on my way. I had a complete engine failure in my car, and broke down in the middle of a freeway off-ramp. I called a tow truck, then I contacted Doordash and the customer. Doordash said they would cancel the order. I apologized to the customers and they were very nice, asking if I was ok and totally understanding. I called the restaurant to let them know and they said "you should've called me first so I could take the order to the customer." I'M SORRY WHAT? My car was broken down in a dangerous position plus I took care of the customer. I called the restaurant as soon as I could after I contacted Doordash and the customers. I will never eat at this restaurant. I will tell people who think about eating here what happened and tell them to go somewhere else. The employee at the restaurant obviously doesn't care about anything except the 20$ in cancelled orders. This type of attitude is toxic in a restaurant environment and calls into question everything they do in my opinion. Don't go...

Pros: fresh cooked food made to order and delivery

Cons: fresh food takes time to cook

You will have to wait for the food especially when it is delivery. I am pretty sure this is a family run business so there is not a large number of employees. This means your food is consistently awesome but also means you will wait. When they tell you it will be x minutes to get your food they are giving you an accurate time. As so you should expect to have wait for the food to be cooked.

How good is it?

I have a 1.5 year old who is teething and didn't want ice cream but ate about half an order of chicken noodle soup.

I highly recommend the Chow mein with soft noodles. Instead of being gravy with something that might be meat, it is light and filling.

This is the third time I have ordered from here and the food has always been consistent. Order food from here and be glad you...
