AMICOS Midwest Pizzeria — Restaurant in Bonduel

Ordered a 14" "Deluxe" there on 6-26-17. It was only okay. There was supposed to be pepperoni on it. There was, only about 6 slices of objects identifiable as pepperoni on a 14" pizza. The rest of the ingredients were in fairly good proportion. I guess pepperoni must have gotten super expensive.

The sauce was bland, just tomato sauce with a bit of garlic as far as I can tell. Nothing else going on with the sauce.

Crust was "hand tossed" and was actually pretty good. Nice crunchy bottom and edges, nicely browned. Too bad the rest of the pizza was so blah.

We are local and have had their pizza before. Not sure if they changed the recipe or were just having a bad night. But I don't think we'll be back...

Very friendly and curteous staff. The pizza was just ok. My husband has eaten here in the past and absolutely loved it so I had high expectations. We came in with 4 adults and 2 young kids and ordered two pizzas. There were barely any toppings on the pizzas at all and we were still pretty hungry after we finished them both. The thin crust pepperoni pizza was extremely salty and tasted like a frozen pizza. I would definitely get a hand tossed crust next time because I think that would probably make a big difference. I'm sure we will be back to give it another try...

We stopped Sunday afternoon during PKR game which played on multiple tv. few tables waiting but we ordered pizza & pasta then watched 4qtr of game. They we're very busy with take out & called in more help. our 16" pizza arrived as a 10"!? the owners apologized & offered to cover mistakes etc. the food all was delicious 😋 & staff was very nice. Their newer owners who are still learning, very nice people & good food so we'll stop again BUT will order...
