TL;DR: This little gem is a wonderful, authentic taste of Indian food that I can't recommend more if you find yourself anywhere near this area of Florida.
I am from New Orleans and have visited for a couple of years at a Gurdwara (Indian Sikh Temple) where families take turns providing a Sunday meal after their service. The food from Fiore is just like the family-cooked meals, except with a considerable amount of chicken in addition to the vegetarian dishes that I have been used to. When we pulled up, for a Mother's Day meal, the building certainly had a humble, casual, small-town look on the outside, and I was a little nervous about what I would be getting from a small-town place in N.W. Florida. I was pleasantly mistaken. The proprietor was originally from the West Bengal area (?) of India and did his culinary studies at LSU; his intention when creating this location was to get good, local ingredients and to make the dishes in-house with a family-style feel. The environment was all aesthetically pleasing and clean. The communications between the staff made it seem like they were just getting a bearing on a new restaurant. I was surprised to see that canned and bottled drinks were a part of the meal expense, instead of in-cup...
Read moreNever tried authentic Indian food and see this little restaraunt all the time so decided to give it a try. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. Walking in the door is like leaving bonifay and entering a luxurious private garden. The decor is classy yet comfortable. Very pretty, quiet atmosphere. The server (i think it's the owner who took care of us) was outstanding, genuine, and so kind. Just naturally gave off a very good vibe. Now the food, that's a whole different story. Everything we ordered was beyond expectation. So many spices and different flavors that blend so good on the palette. The naan garlic bread was soft, fresh, and delicious. The chicken 65 was the right amount of spicy, and I can't stop craving it weeks after our meal! Pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend giving this a try, you won't be disappointed. The only negative thing I have to say is I'm sad I didn't try the buffet! Will definitely be back in the future to give it ago. I'm a review nazi, but this is every bit deserving of the 5 stars. Treat yourself, you...
