We were excited to go and eat a great steak! My wife and daughter ordered a 10oz filet @$56 medium rare. Asked to have it split but NOT butterflied. It came butterflied and medium well. I also ordered a 10oz filet. They sent theirs back and as we were waiting we started to wonder if, in fact, the steak was actually 10oz. Not to mention as we were waiting for their food to be recooked, they left mine on the table to get cold. Not a mention to maybe keep mine warm. I’m not going to eat while my wife and daughter have their food recooked. Our background lended us to measure our food for over 15 years daily so we have an idea of what cooked food should look like. The waitress decided to interject into our conversation. She then brought a food scale to our table to “show” us that the steak was as 10oz before cooking. Easy to do after it was an issue. She then put my cooked steak on the scale to show 6.4oz. Roughly should’ve weighed 7.5 oz, 25% less than raw after cooking, 1 oz not a huge deal but for $56 I want what I pay for when they decided to bring a scale out. We still, at this point, have no issue. Manager or someone then comes to the table. This is where it gets fun. He tells us that he has never been so insulted to be questioned about the food we were being served. We never asked to have the scale brought out, we were just discussing. He then says that he will make it easy and takes my plate and says “get out”. We would’ve paid our bill and just never have gone back but he decided to escalate the situation. So I did also, screamed to the entire restaurant what was going on and he then proceeded to cuss me out in front of the whole restaurant and tell my daughter that I was an embarrassment. That won’t fly with me so I gave it back to him verbally. This guy let his big fat ego get in the way of paying customers. Anyone that will listen I will tell what a huge douchbag this guy was in the way he treated us. Whatever happened to customer service?? Buyer beware and don’t question this place or you can be...
Read moreA Disappointing Experience**
I recently dined at this restaurant that initially promised a great atmosphere but ultimately left me feeling frustrated and concerned for my health. The ambiance was inviting, and I was excited to enjoy my meal. However, my experience took a turn for the worse when I ordered a breaded pork chop.
Due to the dim lighting, I couldn't properly assess the doneness of the pork chop while eating. It wasn't until I neared the end of my meal that I discovered the meat was completely raw. As anyone would, I decided to send it back to the kitchen for safety reasons, considering the risks associated with consuming undercooked pork, including salmonella.
When the manager approached me, I hoped for a professional and understanding response. Instead, he seemed dismissive, asking what was wrong without offering an apology. I explained the situation, suggesting that he check the kitchen, as I believed it was essential for him to understand the seriousness of the issue. Unfortunately, his reaction was far from what I expected; he returned with my uneaten meal and stated that I had already consumed most of it.
Rather than addressing my concerns, the manager escalated the situation by escorting my friends and me out of the restaurant. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially in the food industry, where customer safety should be a priority.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend this restaurant. The lack of proper food safety practices and the dismissive attitude of the management created an uncomfortable environment. If you value your health and a respectful dining experience, I suggest...
Read moreWe made reservations for our group of 10 visitors. Thought we would give it a try. We requested to sit outside, hoping it might be quieter than inside. Nope. Can't imagine how loud it must be inside when you can't talk to each other outside. Then some advertising truck goes by every 10 minutes with a blow horn. Yes, I'm aware that isn't exactly your fault, but it is still the environment. Took a while to finally order drinks. After a half hour of excessive noise and no service, we left. The best part. The manager called us and screamed at us for leaving. Are you kidding me. You can't take care of us when we are there but you will chase us down to yell at us after the fact. Your priorities are messed up. If there was any chance we would give this place another try, it's gone. Suggestion to Aqua, do something about the airhorns, lower the volume of noise pouring out of the doors, and don't leave a big ticket table sitting unattended. Suggestion to patrons: If you want a loud party bar atmosphere while dining on overpriced fare. This is the place. Don't forget the 4% service fee. FYI: I am a 30 yr full time resident, and the person you yelled at was our guest. Restaurants like this one don't last long. Too many amazing restaurants in Naples to bother with this hot mess. Walked past two of them to get yours. Won't make that...
