Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Boone

5/18/25 Update: revised that I haven't given an update review on this place even though I buy pizza from them often. 😑

Over the years, this place and Caseys (the one in front of the highway, by walmart) have been my go-to for pizza. My mom also orders from here when she watches my pups, and she is picky. 😑

I normally get delivery, but occasionally do take out.

Since trying the New York crust, I always get it and recommend it to my friends and family. It's just the right amount of crust to pizza ratio if u aren't a crust fan. I have the app and use it for all orders. I only experienced an issue once (prob my fault). They had a $12 any topping, including premium toppings and pizza deal, and u could only get one of them. So I made two separate orders of the exact same pizza. The machine they used thought I accidentally double ordered. When I went to pick it up, they had one pizza. I told them what I ordered, and they explained it that way. Since then, I just change something small when I want a limited deal (add or remove a topping, change sauce, ect.) Now I don't have problems and can use the same coupon on "different" orders. I pick those up since the orders are different and delivery would technically be separate. If I use a deal or don't and it's all one order and I dont want to go out, I have them deliver. My BF and I are night owls, so getting late pizza is usually what we do. They are always on time or really close with the "estimated" delivery time. The pizza choices are really good and extensive along with the toppings. We prefer to be here for delivery or pick up pizza, with Caseys by walmart off the highway as a close second (usually when Dominos is closed or doesn't have deals within the current budget). The lava cake is still ok, not bad, not good either. The cookie brownie they got is my go to desert. It is sooo good! Better fresh, good cold. The New 5mac is pretty good. My BF says worth the price (he is a Mac n cheese guy). The other pastas are ok. Definitely not our go to unless we are lazy and craving pasta. The loaded tots are small for the price, but good if you got a tot craving. The stuffed cheesy bread was disappointing. Kinda dry and not enough cheese to make up for it. Parmesean bread bites are delicious and worth the price especially with the cheesy marinara dip! Soo good! We get the 5 cheese dip if we are craving cheese, but it isn't that good cold. The bread twist isn't worth the cost. U only get 5 of them and they are kind of small. I just order the parm bites and sauce seperate more worth it for cost and flavor. I don't eat in and usually do delivery, so I can't speak much on atmosphere or service. My food is done and delivered within expectations. The pizza and the other food I normally get are always good. (My go to's are New York crust pizza, cookie brownies, parm bites, cheesy marinara sauce, and now Mac and Cheese) All carbs and deliciousness! 😋

Before Reviw : 5 stars: 2021 Had delivery. The pizza was really good and was delivered fast. Lava cakes were okay, not bad, but not good either. The New York style crust is nice. It is a slightly thicker thin crust pizza. Or a regular pizza without the bread...

Overall the experience was dismal. We ordered 2 Pizzas and a Stuffed Bread at 5:30. Our order was ‘delivered’ at 6:30, we saw the driver pull into our driveway and approach our door with a delivery bag. They then promptly returned to their vehicle, came BACK to our door, took the order back from the porch, and drove off. We tried getting in contact with the store to figure out why our delivery was taken back and got nothing but a voicemail telling us to call back when they opened.

We waited till 7 to see if they would reach out to us to explain and got nothing, we finally drove to the store to pick our order up ourselves and instead of explaining what happened they tossed our order into our arms without our drink and sent us on our way as if nothing had happened.

The food itself was okay, it had become fairly cold after sitting in the delivery bag for so long, but tasted fair enough. Until we get an answer as to why we were cucked out of our initial delivery we will not be ordering from this...

I was missing half of my order and was told to drive back to the store which is an hour round trip for me. By then, my pizza would already be cold back at home and it would really ruin the experience of having pizza night together with my family. Shame on me for trusting that they would have put everything in my order without me having to second check their work before driving home. I think to be a successful business you need to reinforce the trust you promise your customers. I know it might sound silly over something as small as half of my order but from the poor reputation your location has revealed to me by not at least compensating me a bit extra to make my journey round trip back to your store because of your mistake; I will never return to that location. My helpful advice would be to slow down to a pace where you actually keep the customer in mind before the sheer quantity of product you sell. Quite...
