Ordered through the mobile app, and my boyfriend went to pick it up at the drive-thru. They gave him a hard time because my name wasn't shown on the order. He ended up having to come back home because my phone was on silent to tell me that they said they didn't have my order. He went inside and told them everything we ordered and they still wouldn't give him our order. They kept telling him that they didn't have it. Before he went to pick it up the first time, we triple checked that we ordered at the correct location. I sent him the screenshot of the order so he could show them when he went back, and they still gave him a hard time. I had just recently downloaded the McDonald's app and did not know that you need to turn the display name option on. I don't understand why after he told them exactly what we ordered, they couldn't just give him the order that was probably just sitting there. They apparently needed a code the first time, but he didn't have that because he assumed if he just gave my name, they would know the order. I called the store to ask about this, and I read off the code that was in my email. The code is longer than 4 digits, so I read the whole thing, and the lady on the phone chuckled and told me it should only be a 4 digit number... I said, okay, well, this is the only code I see, and you're telling me it's not correct, so does that mean you won't give him the food when he pulls up at the drive-thru? The whole situation was extremely ridiculous. Unnecessarily inconvenient. This isn't the first time I've had an issue at this location. Management here is not good. They suck.
Update: They never give me the egg I order, and charge you $3 to substitute the scrambled egg for a whole egg when it should come with a whole egg, since I ordered the Egg McMuffin. The picture shows a whole egg on that sandwich, not a scrambled egg....
Read moreI never write negative reviews unless they are seriously needed to help the business get better. I have a business that relies heavily on google reviews so I understand the importance. The customer service is where the ball was dropped. It started when they took my order in the drive through. The associate came on saying "What do you need" .... I thought it was rude, but you can let that slide maybe it was a mistake. Then we pulled around and the young kid opens the window and stares at me with a smirk on his face as if I was bothering him. I handed him my debit card which has a Dallas Cowboy logo on it and he tells me the machine is down after watching him swipe the card in front of me. I then pulled out a hundred dollar bill as it was all I had and he rolled his eyes and reluctantly accepted the money. After I got my change he didn't say a word. Again, could be 1 bad employee I wasn't going to get upset over a young kid working at his first job. Then it was time to grab the food at the next window. Another young kid served the food and I asked if he would be able to throw away a disposable cup I had to make room for the two drinks I just bought. He says "no", so I thought he was kidding so I tried to hand it to him. He then proceeded to ask me for money in order to do it. I was blown away!!!! Then the manager came to the window and told me to go through it in the trash can up at the corner through his very limited English. And of course we didn't get what we ordered on top of all this.....I would strongly recommend having customer service training at...
Read morePretty disappointed with my latest visit to this McDonald's. I've never ever really had any issues with the service here for basically as long as I can remember, and I'm a born and raised local so honestly I'm actually rather annoyed. I, like most rational individuals I'm sure, wouldn't and DON'T appreciate being insulted by the so-called "professional" drive thru workers. I'm sorry that you don't like your job or that you can't work well with others and/or the general population, but I suppose that's what will happen when the people being hired are somewhat questionable. Either they are just uneducated enough to land the job to begin with (not always by their own hands, I know I know), or the person just has a hard time controlling the ignoramus inside them.
Oh, I would also like to take the time to point this out too before I end up forgetting...you can always tell a great deal about someone by the way they choose to carry themselves. You can tend to sense the energies and vibrations that those around you exude, so that being said I found this employee's appearance more than slightly offputting. I clearly understand that I shouldn't be overly expectant of the service received from the employees at McDonald's but to be serious it is still a PROFESSIONAL place of business and should be reflected partly by the employees. Too bad I didn't get the lovely young lady's name from the drive thru...
