Probably the biggest reason for why I’m not completely satisfied with this Pedro’s location is that service does not correlate with cost. The food is honestly pretty delicious! It tastes great and their chips and dips to the entrees are usually very on point — that is, if your order is made properly and correctly. Sometimes, I find the servers rushing through the ordering process could be a big reason orders aren’t perfect. My biggest critique for this review however is the automatic gratuity charge. I don’t know, maybe I’m not accustomed to eating out at many restaurants where gratuity is automatically charged to the ticket, or maybe it’s a new trend. But I find it unacceptable and quite confusing to be charged a 20% tip on my bill as a charge along with the other items we ordered rather than an option to write in a custom tip amount. Craziest part? This was for a table of 2. I would understand if it was a rule to include a tip for large parties, but for 2 guests? Very odd. It was added on to the ticket, so even if I wanted to remove it, the server (who seemingly went MIA for long periods) would have had to manually remove the charge, reprint, and then give it to us so we may write in our custom tip amount. The rushed service and l lack of attention throughout the meal does not justify a 20% gratuity charge. When asked about this, he said that there was a “large amount of food” and that “if we wanted to have it removed, we should have told him.”

I visited on a Friday right around noon. When we entered it wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately. I believe it was the manager who came over and told us about some off menu items and suggested we try them. I declined because there was a HUGE sign at the entrance with oysters and other options that I was interested in. I asked our waiter if there were oysters available and he brought a separate menu for them, so be sure to ask the host for one. There were too many delicious options to chose from, so we chose the oyster sampler, comprised of 3 of each of the varieties, for a total of 18 oysters. LISTEN...THEY WERE AMAZING! If I had one complaint, it would be the onions on a couple of the oysters...just felt like they would've been great without them but I will DEFINITELY be returning for more oysters! I also had the chicken and steak fajitas, which came out sizzling with all of the fixings on the side. They were delicious as well. Our waiter was so pleasant and attentive, which added to out great experience. Can't wait to visit again when it's more lively and hopefully catch some live music 😋🤗

I ordered from Pedro's today from a delivery service on 8/22/23. I purchased tacos for myself and the tortilla soup for my wife, who was released from the hospital earlier in the day. I didn't receive the soup in my order. Very frustrating, because this was for her. I requested and received a refund from the delivery service, so I reordered the BOWL of tortilla soup, which was $8.99. (Not the cup, which is $6.99.) Plus, the charro bean soup to make enough for the delivery order minimum. (And, another tip.) What I received is pictured here. It was not hot, and when in the history of ever is that a BOWL of soup? How can you justify charging that much for what you advertise as a BOWL? I would have been slightly upset if that was the CUP size. The container was barely 1/3 full. That BOWL of soup would not have fed my 9 yr old.I don't know what happened; this was a great place when it first opened, but this feels like robbery. Definitely won't be spending more $$ here.

Pedro's is a well-designed restaurant with a spacious layout and a relaxing atmosphere, which seems very capable of accommodating single individuals and couples to large groups and family gatherings. The tables are spaced far enough apart from one another that you shouldn't feel crowded even during peak service hours where the restaurant is filled with guests and wait staff moving between tables.

We attended the restaurant during one of those peak service times. Due to the volume of patrons, our wait between ordering and our food arriving to the table may have been a tad more lengthy than some may like. However, that wait was left unnoticed by us due to the exceptional service provided by the wait staff. As we waited after placing our order, our waittress checked on our table multiple times, providing updates on the progress of our meals and refreshing our drinks long before either of those things ever crossed our minds. Once our food was prepared, it was delivered promptly to our table, still piping hot.

Our meals were prepared in a way that it exemplifies a well coordinated kitchen with quality staff and experienced cooks. For example, one person ordered a sampler platter as their meal. Although that includes 7 different "samples" of varying foods (which would require varying levels of prep and cook time), everything was delivered to the table where it was very obvious that each item was made fresh for that specific order by excellently coodinated and professional kitchen staff. The food was seasoned well, flavorful, and cooked to a perfect level where nothing seemed under or overcooked.

Due to the exceptional level of care provided by the wait staff, the enjoyable/relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant, the variety of foods available (including many options beyond just traditional Mexican cuisine) and the * quality * of our meals, no one from my table left unhappy or had any form of complaint.

I am not a big fan of Mexican food, but I can say without a doubt that I will happily eat at Pedro's again. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quality meal with...

Got 1 Chicken and 2 Beef Street tacos for dinner per the young lady told me it comes with Rice. Ask and paid for Extra cheese, 1 large Guacamole a la carte and chips salsa. All to go back to hotel. Got to room and realized no rice the tacos were a disaster they tried to stack them in a circle layered . No lettuce , It failed.! From damp dry corn tortillas. Cheese on side well only tee tiny cup I paid for extra 🤯. Chips and salsa were okay. But I spent nearly 30 dollars. So I call over, same young lady answered. I told her missing rice she had no ideas except to keep repeating yes mam. Then in the background silently heard someone say?. She replied finally after I repeated 3 situation problems. She finally replied well the Mgr changed the menu and didn't tell me. Really it's hard core plastic coated, can that happen in 19 minutes.???? 🤯. I replied not cool. So I told her I'll review here. She said yes mam again. Omgosh. Well you check your sack before leaving and one thing I can't take is fake words being prompted. Falsely after single person dinner small street tacos and still hungry. After that Bill and missing food. I Was not offered even a I'm sorry let me get a Mgr. Well he was right there I'm sure of it. He was when I ordered and picked up after the restroom break. He Never said a word to me .Not good Management in my experience as a multiple business owner. Sorry Pedro chain I'll...
