Pedro's is a well-designed restaurant with a spacious layout and a relaxing atmosphere, which seems very capable of accommodating single individuals and couples to large groups and family gatherings. The tables are spaced far enough apart from one another that you shouldn't feel crowded even during peak service hours where the restaurant is filled with guests and wait staff moving between tables.
We attended the restaurant during one of those peak service times. Due to the volume of patrons, our wait between ordering and our food arriving to the table may have been a tad more lengthy than some may like. However, that wait was left unnoticed by us due to the exceptional service provided by the wait staff. As we waited after placing our order, our waittress checked on our table multiple times, providing updates on the progress of our meals and refreshing our drinks long before either of those things ever crossed our minds. Once our food was prepared, it was delivered promptly to our table, still piping hot.
Our meals were prepared in a way that it exemplifies a well coordinated kitchen with quality staff and experienced cooks. For example, one person ordered a sampler platter as their meal. Although that includes 7 different "samples" of varying foods (which would require varying levels of prep and cook time), everything was delivered to the table where it was very obvious that each item was made fresh for that specific order by excellently coodinated and professional kitchen staff. The food was seasoned well, flavorful, and cooked to a perfect level where nothing seemed under or overcooked.
Due to the exceptional level of care provided by the wait staff, the enjoyable/relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant, the variety of foods available (including many options beyond just traditional Mexican cuisine) and the * quality * of our meals, no one from my table left unhappy or had any form of complaint.
I am not a big fan of Mexican food, but I can say without a doubt that I will happily eat at Pedro's again. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quality meal with...

The food is honestly pretty delicious! It tastes great and their chips and dips to the entrees are usually very on point — that is, if your order is made properly and correctly. Sometimes, I find the servers rushing through the ordering process could be a big reason orders aren’t perfect.
My biggest critique for this review however is the automatic gratuity charge. I don’t know, maybe I’m not accustomed to eating out at many restaurants where gratuity is automatically charged to the ticket, or maybe it’s a new trend. But I find it unacceptable and quite confusing to be charged a 20% tip on my bill as a charge along with the other items we ordered rather than an option to write in a custom tip amount. Craziest part? This was for a table of 2. I would understand if it was a rule to include a tip for large parties, but for 2 guests? Very odd. It was added on to the ticket, so even if I wanted to remove it, the server (who seemingly went MIA for long periods) would have had to manually remove the charge, reprint, and then give it to us so we may write in our custom tip amount. The rushed service and l lack of attention throughout the meal does not justify a 20% gratuity charge. When asked about this, he said that there was a “large amount of food” and that “if we wanted to have it removed, we should...
