Kroger Marketplace — Local services in Bossier City

We've been shopping at this location for years (min 30min drive)but after today we will just go to the grocery store that is closer to us. Not only has the quality of fresh items gone down, they constantly have heavily expired items in the dairy section. They are frequently out of stock on a lot of items. And now they have the body wash, deodorant, laundry detergent etc in its own area where you have to pay for those items before going back into the rest of the store to continue shopping. This is a HUGE inconvenience, like I was shopping today and I normally get my hygiene items before food items for obvious reasons and having to pay for 2 items in that blocked off section just to then have to pay again for the food and other items at another register is ridiculous. Not only am I having to pay twice the state and parish taxes but that's now 2 different charges on my card. The employee said it's because those items are frequently stolen....but seriously this is ridiculous and won't truly stop someone from stealing those items. It just inconveniences the customer and makes more work for the employees who are already short staff and overworked. So today is the last time we...

I placed an order for a Minecraft cake for my son’s 5th birthday a month in advance and even called the day before to make sure they had the order and pick up time for 10am. They confirmed. We showed up at 10:30 to a plain white cake with nothing on it and cupcakes with no icing. We were told they were almost done and then given a cake that was not at all what we ordered. When asked why, we were told they don’t make the cake online or in the advertised picture and not sure why we were told it would look like that. The manager showed no remorse except to offer a discount and say “nothing we can do about it now, we can’t make a new cake”. I was not worried about the price, was just very upset to order a cake for my sons birthday well in advance that has been fighting stage 4 cancer at St Jude and just got home. He was excited about his cake and I was completely gaslit made to think the cake was never supposed to look like that. Not to mention you could tell the cake was rushed to be cooked because it was falling apart when cut. Never will I ever order from Kroger bakery...

My mother on last week visited the store to pick up her prescriptions and do some shopping. As she was checking out, one of the employees started yelling out to her saying you haven’t paid for those things. In confusion she checked all of her items and realized she had paid for everything. The employee approached her still yelling at her checks her receipt then proceeded to go in her purse and pulls out her prescriptions. The employee then calls for managers and more employees, as she is waiting the employee continues to go through her purse and finally finds the receipt and looks at my mother and ask how is it you didn’t have to pay for your prescriptions? It seems odd. No one ever arrived to assist in the issue and when we called back to the store the manager Kay suggested that we should just get over it and we were making a big deal of nothing. Needless to say we will be moving her prescriptions and will no longer frequent Kroger. It is unimaginable that they allow their staff to violate the consumer in this way and blame the customer for this type...
