I love this flavor, but the bossier location has several combative employees. On this visit I wasn't even gonna go in, I went through the drive thru. Was told I had to come in to pickup my order. There was 4 people in line, I immediately moved to the side. A short lady with red hair told the other employee make sure u don't let her cut in-line, she said, no she's not cutting she's waiting to pickup her order. The young lady with red hair, and no name tag was rude. In fact she is rude and ugly everytime I come to this location. On this visit, the front was super dirty. There was a purse and other personal items setting in the food area. I love the flavor of Popeyes chicken, but I will no longer be purchasing any of there items. I've been to over 5 locations, within this area and I'm never buying There food again. There chicken may have the best flavor in town, but delivery matters. I've witnessed dirty language, hateful glares, as well as being specifically called out and yelled it by employees. I will not give u 1 penny. Ever again. I support business that are kind, and they care about there customers. 💯 not 1 penny. UPDATE TO REVIEW* On June the 7th, 2023 was sent to this location to pickup an order. There were to employees behind the counter. And 3 customers at the counter. I moved to the side, and let them know who I was picking up for. 2 other individuals who were also picking up orders entered the store. All 3 of us were told that we had to get at the end of the line for ordering. Keeping in mind that these orders had already been placed, we were only picking up. ALL 3 OF US WERE DEINED service, we were told to leave the store when we refused to get at the end...
Read moreI stopped at Popeye's this day because the parking lot was empty and the drive thru was also slow. After parking and going inside, I had to wait on three other guests that had ordered. The food racks were almost bare and they workers were cooking biscuits. I looked around. The tables needed cleaning and all the trash cans were overflowing. I had to wait 15 minutes for my order. The workers in the back didn't seem to be in a hurry.
While there, one patron got her food and drink. Before she could leave the business the drink cup holder broke. The women's large drink went all over the floor by the entrance. The floor was cleaned up in time.
I received my food after a wait. I filled my drink with root beer. The coke dispenser was empty. There were no drink cup lids or napkins in the lobby.
I sat and started eating. I almost finished my food and my drink fell over. Drink covered my table. I cleaned it up with napkins. Three employees were near. None offered to assist me. I refilled my drink and left because my pants were wet with soft drink. I wasn't thanked for my visit upon leaving out.
I seldom visit this location. The employees here don't show any interest in pleasing the customers. This was my third visit in two years. This location never seems to have any chicken ready to sell. The employees seem to lack direction.
Additional:
The lobby trash containers were full today. This attracted flies. I ate quickly this day. I will not return anytime soon. Other Popeye's locations in Shreveport have much better service than this Airline Drive location in Bossier City. I shouldn't have stopped here this day. You should...

It's the kind of sandwich that makes you forget all your troubles and believe in love at first bite. Seriously, other chicken sandwiches just pale in comparison.
Now, onto the drive-thru experience. Buckle up – not because you'll be speeding through, but because you might grow a few more gray hairs waiting. The term "slow" doesn't quite capture it. Time seems to stretch into eternity as you inch forward, contemplating the mysteries of the universe and wondering if you'll ever reach the menu board. But fear not, the wait is worth it once that glorious chicken sandwich is in your hands.
The staff? Well, they're doing their best under the pressure. You can almost see them hustling inside, trying to keep up with the demand for their delectable fried chicken. And when you finally reach the window, they greet you with a tired smile that says, "We made it, together."
So, if you have the patience of a saint and an undying love for chicken sandwiches, Popeyes on Airline Drive is your spot. Just remember to bring a good podcast or a novel – you might be there a while. But that first heavenly bite of that sandwich? Totally worth...
