Went here with a friend recently for brunch for the first time and was sadly disappointed. Not sure if our waitress was new, but she definitely was not as communicative as she could have been nor did she understand that when we were asking “what non alcoholic drinks they had” we were referencing soft drinks/orange juice, lemonade, etc as opposed to “mocktails and an NA margheritas” which was her response. We also got there at around 11:30 and were placed in area that, unbeknownst to us, an hour later would be needed for a birthday party. We were then asked to move in the middle of our meal, however I believe this could have been avoidable considering when we were seated the restaurant was completely empty. Upon receiving our meal the bacon was very dry and overcooked (not burnt though), which I guess for some may be a preference but if this is the case I believe customers should be asked how they like their bacon cooked, and both my pancakes and bacon were cold. At the end of our meal we were given a check that said ordering chocolate chip pancakes (what I ordered) was an additional charge and my bacon was charged as a side, however on the menu my order very clearly stated a flat price of $13 for whatever pancakes you choose (plain, chocolate, or blueberry) WITH a side of bacon or sausage. Unsure how a meal that comes with a meat means you get charged the additional side price, however when I asked our waitress she gave no other answer besides “yes. it’s weird”. I did not argue or ask to speak to anyone else since she seemed pretty adamant that is how their menu worked and I did not want to question her, but I do urge the menu to be changed to accurately reflect this if that truly...
Read moreWent on a Sat afternoon around 4. It was crowded but the hostess got us a table in less than a minute. The menu has a large selection of appetizers, pizza, sandwiches and entrees. We got an app, two sandwiches and two drinks each. All very good. Our waitress Summer was very nice. Our only complaint was that the place was very noisy which couldn’t be helped given all the people talking and the general layout of the restaurant. Younger crowd for the most part and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The only reason I didn’t give the 5 stars was the noise. Otherwise it was perfect. They gave us a big jug of water for the two of us. We plan on going back another Saturday for an early lunch to see if it will be a little quieter. I’ve heard from a good friend that their pizza is out of this world and that is what we will be trying next. Definitely worth checking this place out. Since it is located in Adams Village there is a ton of...
Read moreI have never encountered a more rude or condescending waitress at any other restaurant or bar. When we questioned that our bill may possibly have been charged for an extra drink or two she was extremely disrespectful to my girlfriend so we did not tip her well. She then proceeded to show the bill and her disappointing tip to her coworkers and other people dining at the bar. She then circled back and approached me while my girlfriend was using the bathroom and began to complain again to me this time and made a statement saying that she could simply add money to the check once I left in which I replied I would easily dispute it with my bank. I was ultimately kicked out of the bar by the bouncer for not tipping this awful waitress. I would never step foot in this business again and would recommend eating at McDonald’s down the street instead...
