We decided to stop here while we waited to board our flight. We ordered the clam chowder so we could compare it to what we deemed our favorite clam chowder in Boston. The Chowder was hot, good consistency, good flavor, but it was definitely "potato heavy" and could have used more clams. It withstood the spoon standing test. The cup was definitely not full - compared to other chowder places that have it full to the brim or even overflowing. I thought it was overpriced for what it was, but, it's the airport so expected. We each ordered a "farewell" drink; my husband had a beer and I ordered an espresso martini. The server brought me a martini glass that was a little over 1/2 full. I took a tiny sip and it reminded me of the canned Starbucks Frappuccino you can get at a gas station. VERY unimpressive flavor. My husband stopped the server and asked if the drink always came 1/2 full or if there was supposed to be more to it for $18. She nodded that it was right; it was obvious there was a language barrier so she took the drink to the back room to ask the manager. First, I am always uneasy when you give feedback or have concerns and rather than bring the manager to you, they remove the food/drink and take it to an undisclosed location; I hope people aren't petty enough to punish a disgruntled customer by tampering with their meal, but you never know! Second, the manager never came out. She came back with it and said "This is right". My husband told her we weren't paying $18 for it and she could take it back. She removed the drink and apologized. I then heard the manager complaining loud enough for us to hear, "This is what they get for wanting us to use fancier glasses. They changed the glassware 4 days ago and it is a larger capacity so it looks like less drink!" <--- Sorry dude, not your customers' problem. Adjust the cocktail recipe or the price to reflect this change. Lastly, this place was FILTHY. This should have been a red flag, but I chose to overlook it since it's the airport and there is a lot of customer turnover. However, we were there with only 3 other customers at the bar; there was no excuse for the floors to be littered with food crumbs. Wipe down your menus. Ick.

I had a great time today at Legal Sea Foods!!! I hardly leave reviews, but my experience was too perfect to not. I personally have worked service industry for several years now and I know how much it takes to provide a truly unforgettable meal for guests. Sitting at the bar was the first smart move. I had both Mike and Mark (or M&M) as bartenders. When I sat down, I had such a warm welcome with smiles.😁 Then I asked simply for a glass of wine and some oysters. Unfortunately, they had just run out of the oysters, having just served the last few to some guests next to me. They must be delicious to run out so quickly in the day. Asking for recommendations, I was steered to the crab cake. I got the crab cake sandwich, which exceeded my expectations. Several guests around me got the clam chowder as well, and it smelt amazing too.🤤 I managed to get some work done, then got an expresso martini. I am super picky about my expresso martinis. Mike asked me about my preferences and what I wanted. He accomplished something I haven't been able to for myself in my own E.Martinis. a perfect balance of acidity, sweetness, and compounding flavors. I honestly cannot wait to come back to Boston International airport just so I can be have a phenomenal experience all over again at the bar. M&M are fantastic bartenders, I loof forward to seeing them again in the future!!

Overall a good experience but we had our hiccups. I had the lobster roll which was good but The price didn’t really support the meal. Overall though I’d recommend trying the place out. It was a bit hectic because it was so busy so my party got very annoyed being asked to move. I personally did mind. I also had a hair in my frys unfortunately but I didn’t notice until I was basically fished and just had a good amount of frys left so I didn’t make much fuss. Also when I went to help my wife do she hers there was a fuzzy like a hair net so my appetite was gone but again I didn’t raise a big fuss because overall I enjoyed the experience and it happens. I did let the server know and he apologized and offered another order of frys but I declined because it killed my appetite. He asked if I was sure and even gave 10% off which I was pleased with. It was a small discount but the recognition was nice. This review more so is to compliment the restaurant and the staff even though some issues happened I’m very pleased and would recommend this place. Unfortunately most customers I feel would of blown this up.
