This review is for the Gachi at terminal C at Logan airport. Went there before my flight to get a bite. Cashier told me to seat myself. I sat at window, ordered a Pinot and crispy chicken rice bowl. Wine was brought in a dirty glass with a pink piece of foil floating around the bottom of the glass. Waitress replaced the glass of wine. Waited about twenty minutes and inquired about my food as I saw several parties come in after me get their food. The waitress told me that they didn’t get my order. Person who took my order refused to look my way. Other waitress said my order must have gotten lost and she’d put my order in. I told her I had a flight to catch. She said she’d pack it to go. I told I didn’t have time. She brought me the check for the wine and I told her they shouldn’t charge me for it. She just stood there looking perplexed on why. To top it off, Sami, one of the owners, was such a delight. Upon learning that I had six hours wait for my flight after I settled my bill, she warmly offered to let me stay at the restaurant and serve me a welcoming tea and great conversation. I had a relaxing time watching people and time passed quickly with such a friendly atmosphere.
I have a choice to stop in New York or Atlanta for future flight connections. Needless to say that Sami and the food won me over and Logan will be my forever stop. I look forward to...
