This was my first time at Molinari’s in Dorchester, ma. My daughter and her friends have raved about & boy were they on point. I ate the apple cider porkchop which was mouth watering incredible. I had a red sangria to drink which was excellent. I also got the arancini balls as my app which were the best I’ve ever eaten. My future son in law had the spinach ravioli and it was love at first bite. My daughter got the pork chops and actually asked the waiter if she could get the recipe they were that delicious. My other son in law to be got the the chicken broccoli Alfredo/ i believe that was the name and loved it. Everyone got drinks and loved them. The atmosphere was excellent and our waiter was a class act. And we are all foodies and hard to please. This place is an 11! Sadly, the biggest food expert couldn’t make it, my husband.. There are 2,things my hubby knows. Chicken parm and cannoli’s. My husband says he’s never had a good cannoli outside of the north end. So we brought him home 4! His words/ these are better than the north end and my husband couldn’t believe it. He wants to drive back there today and get more and talk to the pastry chef as he couldn’t believe how good they were. And the chicken parm- he said- best in years. I truly don’t know what else to add it was that good. I want to thank the chef and staff for such a great meal. I highly recommend this place, it’s the best we’ve been to in years. We are there ladt night, our reservation was at 6 o’clock on 4–15- 25. For 5 of us. Just a shocker of a surprise. My husbands pallet is 2nd to none- and we brought him home takeout. This is a best of...
Read moreVery disappointed to say the least. A friend and I were on vacation and had a friend wanting to try it out with us. Walking in, there is no formation to know where to get your name down on the waitlist. I understand it is small and there would be a wait so we decided to wait because we had heard great things. We were quoted a 25 min wait and seeing that they had no seats to wait we went next door to have a drink while we waited and they took our number and told us they would call us when our table was ready. We waited 25 mins and returned to check on our table and walked in to find out other parties of similar sizes (3-4) that had arrived after us had been seated (what seemed to have been quite a while as they had already ordered and cleaned their plates) We proceed to the hostess to check on our table to have her tell us it would be 10-15 mins. And could clearly see on their list they had seated the party after us already. On the other hand discovered delicious food and great service at Landmark Public House down the street. One of our new...
Read moreI wasn’t wild about the place but my four guests all loved it. My biggest complaint was the place was pretty noisy and a bit crowded. (It’s a small space) The staff could not have been nicer from the second we walked in the door. Our server was wonderful. We started with a chicken wing appetizer that was very nice. My wife had some pasta with lobster. They make all their own pasta which everybody seems to love. I’m the type of guy who thinks the stuff I buy in the supermarket in a box is just as good.😎 I had a chicken Parm sandwich which was pretty good. The bread was very nice. Next time I’m going to try the meatball sandwich. The desserts were very good. There is sufficient street parking so you should be able to find a spot easily enough. My wife wants to go back and try the pizza. Next time we will go on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. We had a 7 PM reservation the night we went and I think that’s why it might’ve been a little crowded. ...
