Roslindale House of Pizza — Restaurant in Boston

Ordered from this place a couple of times and had to take a bus to pick up food. Was delivered once and gave the delivery driver a decent tip so thought to myself it couldn’t be that. finally get to this place(luckily had a return bus withinin 10 minutes to get back home) and was insulted when I arrived about the neighborhood where I live by some woman that really needs a class on customer service. I was horrified but seemly she did it after I paid for my crappy food. Too boot I saw some guy handling the food with no gloves wiping his nose and proceeding to continue making food no hand washing involved making the cold subs. I just Thank good I had a hot sub. Oh and btw I was charged an additional fee for using my card vs cash. Like that should be my problem. Get home after horrible experience at this place and proceeded to open up my food It looked like someone poured oil all over my pizza and my chicken cutlet sub was raw. Horrified purely disgusted and lost $30 to boot. Call place an explained and got the same ignorant lady stating she’s the owner and all food was properly made but in fact I had to throw it all away. She didn’t give a care in the world that she just ripped off a person that was willing to travel to get their food by bus only to be treated like trash. A word to the wise... this place has horrible etiquette in customer service owners and staff. If they don’t like the area where you live regardless if it’s close or the 2 mile range they won’t deliver. You have a better chance calling the health board on them due to all of the unsanitary behavior going on there. Will never order from there again and neither will and of my friends and family good luck with that loss. 35 people lost by 1 ignorant person. Order checkmate or romanoes they deliver have no problem with where you live and food arrives fresh hot and edible with no extra fees for...

Well sad to say i have ordered from Roslindale House of Pizza for quite some time now... Today i got the experience that i thought I would never have. I called in an order at 12:17pm. At 1:30pm I noticed that my delivery for lunch had not arrived yet so I decided to do what any HUNGRY customer would've done and that is to call and see what is going on. So I called and a female picked up the phone and I said in a very calm way "Hey what's going on with my order that I called in an hour and 10 mins ago" She then starts to tell me an excuse of how the driver had to go back to a different location and then she mentioned something about car trouble.. So then i said ok well a courtesy call would've been ok and she then ended the call by saying " I will do what i have to do, and you do what you have to do".... So i guess with that said, I will not be ordering food from here again. So i guess what i am trying to say is that if you DON'T care of the time you will get your delivery for food (reasonably speaking) then you can order here and will get before the NEXT DAY... Otherwise go somewhere else because they did nothing to compensate for the lenth of time that it took for the order...

4/11 called in an order for pick up. I ordered a chicken broccoli pizza well done not burnt. I ordered also chicken wings and fries which were not bad. I went to the restaurant and my mom that the pizza I was given was well done around the crust areas in the middle it was not done. It was a machine, and the cheese was not melted, and that the woman. The owner said to me, we’ve been business for 30 years and nothing has never went wrong. It wasn’t satisfactory to you, but it was satisfactory to us cause we cooked it not satisfactory to the customer purpose of your business. I asked for a refund she told me I could have the Pizza back that she touched. That’s all she could do never offered. I can make another Pizza not that I’ve would have wanted her. Never said to me maybe it wasn’t right. Maybe next time it couldn’t be better.. she said take the pizza back but you’ve been in business for 30 years and you’ll touch the pizza that I have to eat with your nasty hands and tell me to take it back and you’re a business owner. I don’t suggest nobody to walk into 4168 Washington St. to order or have any type of dealings with this business and I’m still waiting for the police 45...
