Went on day one for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised at the fantastic taste and selection of choices for tacos at a very fair price. Expected to wait a bit for seating as it is a small space but the staff were hopping. The restaurant is quite loud, please do not go in attempt of intimate conversation. The background music is enjoyable and lends to the exciting feel of this small Taqueria. We tried 6 different tacos: presentation was beautiful, amount of food on the actual house made taco shell was satisfying and generous, the flavours were layered and delightful on all but two types we tried where flavour was a bit drab in comparison, the homemade shells were very good- of course not all consistent in thickness since handmade but the texture was pleasing. Overall, a huge hit and we will make this a regular. We were hoping to see Sangria on the menu for some reason but they do have an ample selection of inspired cocktails to chose from thus far. The little chili chocolate at the end of our meal was fabulously rich and a nice ending. Perhaps desserts will appear in the future. So happy to have this place in Lower Mills, well done to the owners and staff! I would say a very successful opening night this past Monday.

I had a late-night dinner with friends at this charming spot, which features seasonal outdoor seating. We dined inside, and while the space is cozy and small, there might be a wait during busy times. The ambiance is relaxed and dimly lit, with some cool neon signs adding a fun touch. The drinks were excellent and visually appealing, and I appreciated the variety of mocktails available. We started with the sweet and spicy wings and red shrimp aguachile, along with a small side of queso. The wings were flavorful with a strong kick—perhaps too spicy for those sensitive to heat. The red shrimp aguachile was refreshing but the chip-to-sauce ratio was off; the shrimp was in a smaller portion, though my friends enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the queso was served cold and had an off flavor, lacking the expected cheese taste. I wouldn’t order it again. For tacos, we sampled a variety: carnitas, carne, chicken chile verde, mango BBQ pork, chili duck, queso carne, fish, and spicy tuna. The tacos were well-sized, flavorful, and featured tender meat and seafood. Most were served in corn tortillas, except the spicy tuna, which came in a hard shell. Overall, it's a great spot for a casual hangout with friends or a date night.

Horrible horrible service. This is the 2nd time that I come here with colleagues from work and it's been absolutely a horrible experience. It is an absolute mess. The first time we had a party of 6, we put our name to wait, as we waiting inside the restaurant for our turn we keep seeing other guests get seated before us who arrived at the least 20-30 after us. We continue waiting and still do not get seated. Along comes another group of 6 or more guests, the get seated before us. The host mentioned that it was a mistake and that that party wasn't suppose to sit ahead of us. Instead of apologizing and telling the party that it wasn't their turn, they allowed them to sit either way. We waited, continued watching other guests get seated before us. After at least an hour and 30 minutes we get seated. Fine. Not only was that a horrible experience for us as first timers we decide to give it another try. Here we are again. They don't allow reservations or parties of more than 4 this time. We look at the list the host had in front of her and clearly see parties notes down for 5, parties of 6 oh and not to mention someone notes down with a reservation for 9:30 for 6. But wait, I thought reservations weren't allowed. This is a very discriminatory place towards people of color. I ask the host how long will the wait be and she was not able to quote me a time. I said to her, "who else is waiting ? I don't see anyone else here" she said "oh, they are at other bars having drinks" how can you have parties waiting on the list and aren't even here. Instead at other restaurants? They didn't give US the option to get on the list and receive a call. As that would be the almost similar to making a "reservation". Anyways we won't be coming here EVER again. And just a suggestion to those who are of color, PLEASE do not waste your pretty money in this restaurant. There are far more larger places with better drinks and a better food menu than...

This local spot is a small but good enough for those seeking a Taco night fix. While we enjoyed our meal the service was far from stellar.

Food: The cauliflower Taco is pretty good. Flavorful enough and enough satisfaction for a vegan on Taco night. The nachos were also enjoyed by my daughter. She found the ingredients to be well spread out and as asked to the waitress, the cheese was in moderation.

Service: Place was packed. We were offered seating at a high bar on the side until a table opened up. The size of the high bar eating area was approximately 6 inches wide. When we were served our meal it was a challenge to eat. The plate was larger than the area of the high bar, thus difficult to keep sturdy. It was a corner, this challenging to eat without getting bumped into. I was with a minor so in no way was I looking to sit in such a space (bar side) to eat. If I was advised that I would not have been seated at a table I would have opted for somewhere else to eat. But it was the offer with an until a table opens up. While countless tables opened and new patrons were seated never were we moved. This made for an uncomfortable and inconvenient eating experience. Before even finishing I asked for the bill so we can leave.

Message to the service team. Make sure the customer needs are prioritized. If changes to availability are promised ensure those expectations are met. It will make for a better experience all around.

Message to readers: if possible maybe make a reservation. As locals we did not think a res was necessary, it might help. Although others walked in without one and lucked up on...
