Gyro Stop — Restaurant in Bothell

My friend came to visit me for lunch today and this is right down the road, but I've never been. I've always been scared to try new Mediterranean places because you never know if it's clean and the quality of food can vary. The place is squeaky clean (order at the counter and sitting and area, think like Subway) you can see the prepped food and cone of meat. I ended up getting the falafel wrap and my friend got the classic beef/lamb gyro. the guy was quick and I was immensely impressed that he actually made the falafel fresh! (Versus some places that pre-make and keep it under a heat lamp or frozen) Love that they steam the pita so it's super soft. The sauce tastes fresh, not too minty. Perfect level of cucumbers, onion, and tomatoes. I ate the entire thing and I loved it! When I got back to work my coworker told me to get the gyro fries next time because it's apparently crazy good. Can't wait to go back and get it! And they have assorted bottled drinks and Pepsi...

I'm from Chicago. Most good gyro places are dumps but the food is so good you deal with it. I had to tell the gentleman behind the counter how impressed I was with how CLEAN his restaurant is. He chuckled and softly said thank you. I was there for a to go lunch order, and was in and out in no time. I thought at first that $12.84 was expensive for a gyro, fries, and drink...but when I got back to my office and opened the boxes, that fantastic presentation carried through to the food. It looked so good I took a picture and posted it on the Gram...keep in mind....I DO NOT POST PICS OF FOOD...not saying its bad, I just don't. this food compelled me to however. I am very confused why this place has this many reviews. If you are looking for a spot that serves frozen ready cooked food then this is the place to go. I tried the gyro sandwich and my friend got the chicken shawarma sandwich. The chicken tasted really bad and they do not make it from scratch. Both sandwiches were soggy and we even could not finish them. On top of this the people working there were not thrilled about serving us. I mean if you want to operate in the hospitality industry, you at least have to have good customer service. Finally, we paid about $32 dollars for 2 sandwiches and fries which I think is expensive compared to the quality of food they...
