I ate here once more than a decade ago and I felt that it was pretty good at the time but I haven't worked in the area since then and I don't come here to hang out much. For the time being I'm doing some contract work nearby and when my coworker mentioned that she had found a great Chinese place nearby, I was all in to try it. When we walked in, I recognized it immediately and remembered it as having been decent. She said that she really enjoyed the dumplings. I'm a big dumpling enthusiast now but 12 years ago, that wasn't really on my radar. We ordered some and I'm not quite sure what I was expecting but when they came out, they were big and beautiful. They looked like the kind of thing you would usually have to drive down to the International District to get. I really wish I'd taken a picture but they were so that we just plowed right through them before it even occurred to me. They were outstanding and this will be my go-to at this place from now on. I also ordered the house chow mein. It was pretty good but the noodles tasted like they may have come from a pillow pack form Cash n' Carry rather than made in house. I can really tell the difference these days. they were well prepared and the veggies and meat were fresh and tasty. On my previous visit, I ordered the sweet and sour chicken as well as the almond fried chicken. They were also fresh, well prepared and tasty. All in all, this is a very solid place and I have no problem recommending it. I will definitely eat here as often as possible.

We ordered the Honey Walnut Prawns/Shrimp $17.99 in a delicious creamy sweet white sauce (kind of like a condensed milk taste but thinner) but just the right sauce thicknesst to stick to the Prawns /Shrimp with a hint of lemon 🍋? 😋 pineapple 🍍 pieces in the sauce nice touch on your taste buds. Exactly what we hoped it would taste like, comes with a cup of steam white rice 🍚, but we paid a little extra $2 for fried rice cup, very clean pork fried rice just a healthier variation vs the brown color fried rice, no soy sauce added. What a treat 😋 healthy not heavy. Totally delicious and worth the money 💰 our 1st time there today, and definitely will go back for the same thing when we have that craving or try something new too, honey walnut shrimp is our favorite dish and we like to see who can make the best. Compared to Tulalips Casino Journeys Restaurant which we only go to for the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Until now the Imperial Wok has exactly the same taste we were looking for, they exceeded our expectations tonight with take out. Definitely try YOUR favorite dish you usually order else where and see IF it meets your expectations. You just might make it your new go to spot, very friendly what a wonderful experience. Highly recommend 👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on taste experience that we were craving 😋 she nailed it 💯💫 on time. Thank you again

Highly recommended! You just can’t go wrong with Imperial Wok. If you’re craving Chinese food, stop in for a bite. The food is always fresh and delicious, and reminds me of my childhood when my Grandfather would come home from sea and all he wanted was Chinese. This little restaurant is family owned by the sweetest people and their love for their craft certainly shows. The veggies are all so bright and crisp! The Honey Walnut Shrimp is the best I’ve found and the House Chow Mein a flavorful standout. Tucked away in Canyon Park with easy parking. Call ahead for takeout and it’s ready when you get there. No frills dining is a great description. The food is very basic and low cost. Didn't taste bad but was very enlightening actually ordering there and watching them prepare the food. Two stand outs: Almond chicken - pre-made battered chicken patty that's deep fried to warm it then chopped up and some almond slices thrown on. Second was the deal breaker for me Fried Rice - let's call it what it actually is, steamed rice with a little soy and peas/carrots thrown in. I've actually worked in a Chinese restaurant and real fried rice is steamed rice from the previous day that is then thrown in the wok and ya know...FRIED. A little egg, scallions, soy, meat...fried rice.

Anyway, relatively cheap - $6.75 for lunch special so if you're looking for something quick and low cost this might be an...
