UPDATE 4/3/19 I stopped in here today because I recieved a gift card to make up for my previous experiences here. I ordered a turkey sandwich over the phone and was so excited when I picked up my sandwich and it was still hot. Waiting in line was the same story, teenagers working who are on their phones talking about snapchat and telling each other how "f*ing cool" they were for getting so many snaps. Anyway, I got out to my truck and opened up my sandwich and I couldn't find any turkey, if I could attach a picture to this review I would. I brought my sandwich back in and waited in line. I showed the guy at the cash register, who was very nice and polite to me, that my sandwich was basically lettuce and tomato and he showed the guys making the sandwiches. They dug around and finally found some. They insisted that was the portion size, and I'm sure there's a set amount, but I've had sandwiches here that were great. If that was the standard then I obviously wouldn't have returned after my first visit here. They asked if I wanted the sandwich back that they had fingered through or if I'd like another sandwich, and one guy decided to chime in that they would be putting the same amount of turkey on the new sandwich, in a pretty rude manner. I said no, I'll just take my money back and I left. I rarely treat myself to going out to eat and I've wasted my lunch break here for the last time. I work close by, and we have used Snarf's to cater for company lunches for over 150 people. They have messed up those orders before also, and after talking to my boss we will no longer be doing business with them. I'll be throwing my gift card away.
I have eaten here quite a bit. Sometimes my sandwich is amazing and other times they skimp on the meat a lot, like to the point it's mostly a salad between bread. This recent visit was my last. I placed an order online, it took probably 30-35 minutes when I was quoted 20. The two guys making sandwiches were in no hurry and seemed to be not getting along with the other workers. Everyone looked angry and body language gave it away. There were probably 15 customers standing around waiting for their sandwich, and I overheard other people making comments about how long it was taking and employees behavior. I got my sandwich and the bread was well over-toasted. I honestly couldn't even taste my turkey since there was so little and the sandwich was packed with lettuce. I asked for extra pickles and still only got one slice. It was a pretty simple sandwich. I loved Snarfs when I first started coming in, but it's gone downhill. Also, the manager (I think that's who he is) is really creepy and hits on me and my friends almost every time I come in, which is why I switched to online ordering. It's a bummer, I loved this place but I think my money is better spent somewhere else. I wish I had gone to Noodles for...
Read moreWe order from Snarf's all the time and we have never been disrespectful or complained once about their service. In general, we do not complain about food service. We ordered for delivery and we were told it would take an hour. Fine. I've worked in food service and I understand being behind during dinner hours. Our subs came and my hot steak sub was cold and soggy. Clearly it was made when I ordered it despite everybody involved knowing it would be an hour before the food got to me. When I called to remedy the situation, I was told that because people who lived further away from me ordered first, that my sandwich had to be cold and soggy . And since I live so close, there should have been no reason for me to not go to the store myself and get it. No, I'm sorry. No customer being right. Forget my physical 10 hour work day and then my work out! I shouldn't have anything better to do than to go get my food the one night a week I order out. Apparently you can only get hot good food if you want to pick it up. The idea of timing hot food with a delivery driver is far beyond the people working here. Save your money, or go somewhere that your 30 dollars gets you more than a foot and a half of cold soggy sub. Poor poor poor customer service from punk kids who's contribution to society is making...
Read moreI've tried this place several times now, and the food is kind of bland. I've placed orders ranging all the way from 1-8 sandwiches (for a group of ppl) and have tried a few different types of sandwich as well, so I feel like I gave it a fair shot.
It has never been memorable except for the time a few months ago when we got a rotten salad and they forgot some items we paid for. Nothing terribly expensive, but I did report the issue due to the rotten salad which was just nasty.
I received a reply saying my message had been forwarded to the manager and then nothing further. Not even an offer of a refund or a coupon or something. Honestly I don't care about the money since it was only about $5 total, but the lack of concern over this tells me they don't care about maintaining standards, and that's a severe problem.
Anyway, haven't been back since, and I'm...
