Spruce Cafe — Restaurant in Boulder

Best damn latte between the Rockies and the Mississippi River!

I came to visit my lady friend here in Boulder and stopped for a latte at this fine establishment. It seems that this cafe is best suited for the those who work in the nearby corporate buildings; it's an easy walk and there's really only space to sit for a few minutes (or it'd get crowded quick). But that makes me want to get a job with one of the offices nearby!

The staff are friendly and I carried on a great conversation about triatholons with Frank, the manager. Cool dude from the Netherlands. Side note: I thought he'd be taller... Anyway. Katy was the barista who made my latte. She's sweet, kind, and boy is she cute! I'm gonna have to come back just...

Good coffee, great baked goods and service. I come here with some regularity in the morning on my way to work. I grab an Americano, sometimes a scone and read or answer emails at a table. There's nothing exceptional about this experience, but everything about it is both pleasant and very consistent. The espresso is decent, the atmosphere is nice and the staff are attentive and reasonably cheerful. Good selection of baked goods made in-house and a few sandwiches and things too. Overall...

I was hoping to get a drink and lunch before my PT appointment. Got there at 11:50 and they're "closed for a lunch break". Sign on the door says they'll be back open at 12:30... but it's not helpful for a cafe to be closed during any part of lunch time especially since they're only open for 6 hours a day. If you want to close during the middle of lunch, can you update your open hours on google and at your storefront to...
