My experience with Mo Bettahs has been nothing short of amazing! I work for Delta Air Lines and in the midst of all the Global IT outage chaos, the Mo Bettahs Bountiful team answered the call to assist in making sure our employees were well fed and taken care of for the day. We had called yesterday to make an order to the SLC location in hopes to be able to get food for our employees, but unfortunately they werenāt able to assist us, understandably, as we were ordering almost 500 individualized plates last minute. Not their fault. We still wanted Mo Bettahs as an option for food, so we ordered ahead for the next day (today). Fast forward to today, we were prepared to meet the catering team from Bountiful at pick up times of 11am and 4:30pm with our 500 plates. When I say that Iāve never met a more prepared, professional, and experienced catering team, I am serious. The crews from Bountiful were the best! I wish I remembered everyoneās names that came to drop off food. Eric and team from the AM crew, along with Ethan and team from PM crew were awesome! They both were right on time with our orders, kept us updated on arrival ETA times, assisted with putting all the boxes on our carts, and never once made it seem like this order was too much for them. Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen meaning to stop and try this chain for a while but don't live in the area...I lived in Hawaii and plate lunches were my favorite thing...well...the breaded chicken looked over done...so I went with rice, mac salad, teriyaki chicken and the other chicken(Pulehu) that was supposed to be pepper and garlic...they loaded my foam box(not divided)shredded cabbage(not slaw)rice,mac salad,then teriyaki chicken..adding and subtracting pieces to the box to get the correct weight...tearing pieces off so I didn't get too much....then added the other chicken....turned around to a cutting board and cut them in chunks...drizzled with teriyaki...them put the other chicken right on top of the teriyaki sauce...Long and short...I ended up adding teriyaki to all of the chicken cuz the teriyaki was tasty...the other was a little dry and tasted bland...couldn't really taste pepper or garlic...while they were loading my box another employee came up with newly prepared meat...added it to the wrong tin(on top of the old)...then said" oh that's the wrong one...then picked it out and put it back in the container it came out in...then put it in the "correct" place(again on top of the old meat)...anyway...can you say cross-contaminate...I didn't get food poisoning...I ate most of the food...but it's not calling me "home to the islands"...or back to the eatery any time soon...the atmosphere was kind of empty and didn't really seem to have a theme...didn't seem dirty...just there...the staff was cordial and even chatty for the most part...gave recommendations and seemed friendly...but I found the food very plain and simple...maybe it was...

I understand times are difficult but things aren't being managed well at this location. I placed an order online, had the website pick the time for pickup and when i arrived there were at least a dozen people waiting outside their cars just hanging around. I tried calling the number for curbside waited several minutes on hold and so i just hung up and joined the already too big crowd outside their doors. After waiting a couple minutes i was finally approached by someone and was informed that it would be at least an hour before i got my food. They said i could cancel my order or i could wait. I had already driven about 20 minutes to this store i was not going to wait around another hour. So i asked to cancel my order. At this point they offered to take my card and refund me immediately or put my name on a list and cancel it later. Not wanting to give them more of a hassle i just put my name down. 3 days later I'm looking at my bank account and the money for this order had been taken out. So my order was never refunded in their system. I had to call and get it manually refunded and now it's gonna take a couple days for it to show back up. I'm frustrated to say the least.
