Boba Lounge & Cafe — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Let me start by saying the food and drinks were phenomenal. The HUGE problem I had here was the service. There seemed to only be one waitress, but that shouldn't be an issue when there are only 2 tables to wait on. We got there at 6:15 and our order wasn't taken until 6:50. All we got was hot pot and an appetizer. For those that don't know, hotpot is served raw and you cook it yourself. Even though there is no cooking involved, it took them 40 minutes to bring it out. We figured we could order more food if need be when it came out, since it is very hard to estimate the portions you get. When it came out I asked to order shrimp and broccoli. What I got in response was "I can't put in anymore orders because the kitchen is closes at 7:30". I didn't know it took that much effort to put raw shrimp and broccoli on a plate, and the only reason I was ordering so late is because they took so long. My son was just wild to try the Boba Tea, and with my crazy work schedule, we just could not ever seem to get here in time!!!! Tonight I had exactly ten minutes, and realized I was not gonna make it!! Again!! So, I gave it a whirl and called ahead to plead my case. And sure enough, they waited an extra 5 minutes for us so that my son could finally try the drink he'd been dying for for weeks!!! And the guy whom I spoke to on the phone?! Omg, so amazing, so friendly, agreeable and accommodating!!! Blew my mind!! Thanks so much for the awesome Strawberry Milk Tea With Strawberry Poppers!!! Even more thanks for the positively STELLAR customer service (Which is, so so sadly, a seemingly dead art)!!! And thanks EVER so much for helping me to make my little man so crazy happy tonight!!! I went there because my child wanted to try a boba tea. When we got there we were half greeted and we said it was a to go order. The lady got real snooty. My child was asking questions about the tea and the girl said all the info is right there and pointed to the menu and turned her back and started talking with another worker. Very rude. It's like she was bothered by us. We were waiting and the girl behind the bar and the girl that greeted us were looking at us laughing. You are there to work and help customers, not laugh at people and gossip. Bunch of 12 year olds. Didn't say good bye or nothing. I'm sorry this is not Denver Colorado, which is where I am from. Very snooty and stuck up. My child never wants to go there again. The tea was OK. Will not return. Customer service here is horrible. They need workers who care about...
