We stopped here on the way to Weird Al concert. This was a second option as our 1st was closed for the weekend due to 4th of July. The outside is a bit rundown but as foodies, we are here because of the good reviews. The inside was plain with some unusual paint scheme and we were the only customers but nonetheless, we sat down. Our waitress greeted us and was super friendly. She offered some of their most popular dish selections which was helpful. We started with chips and salsa and guac. The salsa was very good. A bit spicy but well seasoned. The guac was very tasty and the more you ate, the better it seemed to taste! I ordered the 3 taco birria with a side of rice. The meat was seasoned so well! And dipping them into the birria was just perfection! The rice was so fluffy and tasty! My son ordered the quesebirria which to us looked like my tacos with just a larger taco shell. He said it was very good as well as his rice. My other son ordered the enchiladas. None of us have seen enchilada sauce so dark and when we tasted the sauce, we were all taken aback by how sweet it tasted. I was a bit offended and was worried he wouldn’t eat it but once he ate it all together with the enchilada, the flavors mellowed and really complimented each other. He ended up eating all 4 of the enchiladas and said he would order it again. My husband ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp burrito. He said it was super delish and big. Overall a very good experience. I’d definitely come back for the food. I think some minor changes to the interior and exterior would make the place more welcoming but sometimes places like this make the best food! And they...
Read moreI decided to try to place because it was close where I was at and it had good Google reviews. The place seems like they have good food but the execution was off for my order. The tacos are reasonable priced. I got a chicken street taco which was well seasoned along with a steak street taco which was good. The problem was they forgot to put the onions and cilantro on the tacos. I ordered a chorizo gorditas was alright but I didn't really care for the chorizo as it was mild in flavor to me. The pupusa was alright but it was difficult to eat the cabbage and salsa in the car because they were in plastic bags with some of the cabbage juice seeming to leak. With all that being said, I would come here ago if I am leaving the college and want some quick but tasty...
Read moreI’ve ordered multiple times from here. There is always something missing or wrong with my order even when I clarify multiple times. I’ve never left a a review like this before but have to say something because of the multiple instances. Some of the girls who work the front are nice so this is not towards them. I am most upset because of the rude or condescending tone I have gotten from the guy who usually takes my order. As if I don’t know what I am talking about when I am trying to order a traditional Hispanic dish as a non Spanish speaker. Often times I am ordering for my in-laws who are from Mexico and have never had...
