Nolasco's mexican grill — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Updated visit- back down to 3.5 stars Enchiladas supreme. Cold lettuce and tomatoes lowered the temperature of the food overall. Cheese just barely melted in Cheese enchiladas. Chicken was a bit tough to get through. Tortillas and salsa combined with the cold salad and sour cream that was on top of the enchiladas was the best part of this particular meal.

Upgraded to 5 stars 2nd visit and the food was fast and fantastic. The main guy was very nice. I judge a Mexican restaurant by how well they make a chile relleno and I must say that this one was cooked perfectly. Chips were crispy and fresh and the taco rice and beans were all super. Great meal for 11 dollars.

We had had a long day of driving and needed to grab dinner after settling into our hotel. Once the four of us determined we wanted Mexican, we found this place, confident it would be good given the great reviews. It did not disappoint! At first we did not think we had the right location because it is located within an AM Express gas station. The restaurant occupies a portion of the space. We LOVED our server who is also the cashier. I ordered a vegetarian quesadilla. I have never had fresher, more flavorful vegetables like this in a Mexican restaurant. Crisp tender chunks of broccoli, perfectly cooked (not wilted!) red peppers, and slivered onions were nestled in melted cheese inside an amazing homemade flour tortilla. I've been doing Door Dash deliveries for a little bit now, and I noticed that I was getting A LOT of orders from Nolasco's Grill. Nolasco himself is very kind and takes great pride in his business. His kitchen always appears clean from my view at the counter, and he always has a smile for his guests. Because I hadn't tried his food yet, I stopped by on my way home to order a chicken street taco and choriqueso. My order also came with salsa. While the salsa was more spicy than I could handle it was tasty! But my street taco and choriqueso were so flavorful. Nolasco's choriqueso is now my favorite out of our local offerings. I loved the street taco too, and will gladly be going back for more. Nolasco, thank you for always being so kind to me - whether I am a guest or a delivery person. People like you fill me...
