3-stars for price 5-stars for service

Military-friendly place in that they offer a price break. Unique experience that comes at price that will probably keep some folks away. Great and friendly staff along with a decent selection at the bar can sway some to invest more time and money here. Our group of six thought the price to throw for an hour was a bit higher than it should be. For now it is a one-and--done experience but we'll keep an eye out for discounts. Flip'n Axe may be in the running if and when we struggle to come up with a new group activity some evening. It shares some parallels with bowling except that you get more time for less money rolling a ball versus throwing an axe. Of course, it is cost prohibitive to build a bowling lane at the house but setting up a place to throw an axe in the backyard is easy and affordable.

Some might think billing it as kid-friendly might be a bit overreaching but I can say they have done a great job of mitigating risk. At 8 and 12 my kids are a no go for axe throwing even though we shoot guns frequently. Again, can't say enough nice things about the staff and the place is...

Great experience. Great service.

My company rented the place out for a corporate event. I had a few concerns at first, but they were quickly overcome. Pulling up to the parking lot the facility looked small and a bit like a warehouse, but once I got inside the interior was quite nice and they made really good use of the space. We had the place booked for 4 hours and I thought that seemed like way too long, but once the drinks were flowing and everyone was bouncing between food and the different games I feel like I blinked and it was already time to leave. I would have happily stayed for another hour or 2. My final concern was there was only one person working that night and we came with a rather large party. Her name was Nicole and she was absolutely amazing. She had no trouble being both our axe throwing instructor and bartender. She was a lot of fun and made us all feel really comfortable. I would definitely come back again. The bar is great and the axe throwing is fun, but I think the main thing that makes me want to come back again is Nicole's great service and...

This was the closest place I found that allowed my 13yo to participate in a rage room. They gave us a Bluetooth speaker so we could play music. I blasted Evanescence as we smashed bottles, a tv, and bumpers (I think that's what they originally were). He's been struggling with frustration and anger because of bullying that is happening in school. This helped him smash, vent and hit in a healthy and controlled environment. This gave him an output for all of his negative feelings and anxiety. It was a bit of a drive for us, but we will def return. Oh. Hard bottom 👟 is probably best. We weren't hurt at all with the foam soles, but I had to pry glass out of the soles of our shoes when we left. I Oh they also provided goggles, gloves, and coveralls. They even had plus sizes. I was very surprised to discover they had one I could fit. My one disappointment was there was nothing dainty to destroy. I wanted to break something that was wrong to break. Like a tea set.lol I wanted to frisbee a...

G'day guys. Adrian, Kara and Tony here from Australia. Just letting you know how much of a great night we had at the Flip'n Axe while we were in Bowling Green, Ky. Joel, all his staff and family made us feel extremely welcome. Even though we only had a few beers, they had a great selection of nice cold ones. We didn't flip any axes (as we weren't wearing the appropriate footwear) but it looked like fun... Safety was the staff's number one priority. We passed on to other people during the rest of our time in the states if ever in Bowling Green, Ky you must drop in to the Flip'n Axe. All the best for the future guys and girls

My family and I went here for Father's Day, and we had a blast! My husband and I adopted last October, so it was our first Father's Day, and my dad was there as well. Nicole really made it a memorable experience for us. None of us had ever done it before, so she explained how to throw (demonstrating like a pro, of course) and kept checking in on us to see how we were doing. She even gave us tips from time to time! We will absolutely be back, and I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun get together for family and friends or even just a good way to blow off some steam! Until next time!
