Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Pizza Delivery woman comes to our door with pizza. Hands my daughter the pizza. My daughter then tries to hand her the money to pay for pizza. Pizza Delivery Lady quickly turns away, walks back to her car, and leaves. About 30 minutes later, My daughter gets a text on her cellphone from your store manager Fran stating that she was sending her Pizza Delivery woman back to our house to collect the money and if my daughter didn't pay, then she was going to call the POLICE on her. Claiming theft!! Manager Fran also told my daughter that the driver was new. Manager Fran treated my daughter like SHE did something wrong. No, Her Pizza Delivery woman did, but for her to threaten to call the POLICE on my daughter, who had tried earlier to pay, like a CRIMINAL was totally OUTRAGEOUS!! After all that, Manager Fran sent that woman back to my daughter's house to get the CASH that was clearly indicated on the receipt to collect. The Pizza Delivery woman, who was of age, appeared REALLY nervous about coming back, but my daughter, unlike Manager Fran, had compassion for her and understood that her mistake was easy to fix. Before I start this review let me be very clear in saying Papa Johns is my favorite pizza chain and we eat at Papa Johns restaraunts often. However, we will NEVER order from this location again. My wife and I were working and ordered Papa bowls to enjoy for our dinner. Now, normally, when we receive our Papa bowls they are somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 way full and have plenty meat and cheese. The ones we ordered from this location had bare spots where you could still see the bottom of the bowl. When we called to complain we were told "we do things by the book here we use exactly what is called for by the company and I'd other locations are doing it differently that's on them" They offered to replace them but told us they would be the exact same. It's at this point I wish I had taken pictures of them for this review. If you are ordering anything from Papa Johns in Bowling Green KY AVOID the store on Russellville Rd and do not do delivery on their side of town or you WILL be disappointed. If you want a good Papa Johns pizza go across town to the location at 390 US 31W bypass. Trust me they take better care of their customers and have a much better quality of work. Worst service pizza was brought cold and hard. The pizza itself honestly taste like we just got someone else’s order. We paid $20 for pizza that honestly my puppy would not even eat. When pizza arrived the driver was to busy talking on the phone to even see my house. So instead of driving down to the end of the road to properly turn around she decided in a congested area where kids are at play to backup down the street. Now it is summer and the children will be outside playing considering this is at 5:30 in the evening. She continued to have her conversation until she stepped out of the vehicle. At which time she only brought half my order . In a bag that had the side ripped and the stuffing coming out of the bag. Overall ridiculous horrible service. When manager was notified the response was given well considering it’s Friday that was a pretty good time for the pizza to arrive. Keep in mind it was late. His solution was simply I will talk to her when she returns. Overall lesson to get a hot pizza and the right order on time. As well as keep your children from getting hit by the delivery driver.
