Waffle House — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Stopped here at 12:30 last night. My first time at Waffle House. Very disappointing. It was freezing in there. Ordered a cup of coffee, Kristen said she had to brew it. There was one table with people eating when we arrived. Every table was dirty. Clearly Kristen didn't know how to be a waitress and didn't care. Ordered food still never got coffee. Guy cooked 2 plates of food before I ever got a cup of coffee. Biscuit & gravy was cold. Kristen never refilled my coffee. Had to ask for bill. Anything we needed we had to try to get her to come because she never checked on us. One other table of 3 came in while we there. Saw 3 people working there, the cook was cooking but idk what the other girl was doing saw her as we left. Hard to believe every table was dirty and didn't see Kristen clean one. She wasn't busy just didn't want customers I guess. This girl was pathetic must not be working for tips. Told us her name very quietly after sitting our food down. I guess you're suppose to yell for her because she's not coming back. Never saw a waitress let a coffee cup sit there empty and the tea glass empty. No refills here I guess. If I ever try another one it won't be on Russellville Road bowling green KY. Her coffee sucked to, the sweet tea was hot melted what bit of ice she put in the glass. No wonder the people that came in behind us ordered water. 25 minutes for a cup of coffee. Worst hour I ever spent freezing while trying to grab a bite to eat. One...

Good local waffle house. The morning crowd is nice. lots of old guys saying hi to each other and the staff families enjoy post church breakfast couple of hungover folks. You can tell there are plenty of regulars. The late night crowd is much more rowdy and a little sketchy. Plenty of people from the square and local bars that's to be expected though. The inside is kept pretty cold day and night so might want to bring in your hoodie or jacket. Service was quick and friendly. They did mess up both orders but were also able to correct both. Coffee refills are still free which is nice because everything else is getting pretty expensive to justify what it is. The all star breakfast in particular at $11.25 is no longer a deal at all for watery grits two eggs two strips of burnt bacon and some white toast you have to be joking. Several local diners have them beat on price and quality now. The hash browns are still a solid order though and will fill you up. I know everything is getting more expensive but when it's almost $30 for two people to eat at waffle house I think they've priced themselves out. This location needs to be evaluated they hire way to many druggies and they are always out of everything! Last week my sister went there and let me tell you they didn't have any waffle house bags . My sister had a damn see through trash bags instead of the usual ones. Also , they didn't have any forks napkins and they were out of sauce so they gave my sister the rest of an almost empty bottle of Heinz 57 . They gave a regular employee (not a manager) $200 to go get supplies guess what? She had left almost two hours before . There was a dude there who explicitly said " see I told you that lady was a junkie" basically she had the shakes holes in her face missing teeth and she was tweaking hard" he also said her eyes lit up upon being given the money. There are multiple stores in that area btw. And let's not forget about that...
