I moved from Arizona (Dutch everywhere) to Kentucky a year ago and live almost 2 hours from this Dutch. Nonetheless, make the drive 2-4 times per month to enjoy. Prior to today I would have given a 5 star review. But today, 2/28/25 around 5pm I drove there with my husband and 2 daughters. We bought 6 drinks spending over $38. I always order a sugar free rebel with banana, vanilla & orange. My husband orders a sugar free rebel with banana & orange. In the past the barista always writes on the lids. Well, today they were not written on. We left and my husband and I kept taking sips of each otherâs drinks as they tasted EXACTLY the same. We couldnât tell the difference. So about 10 minutes later we went back. I walked back up to the window and hold the same barista that took our order our issue. The cups were still full. I told her they tasted the same and âeven ifâ they were made correctly we wanted the drink we each ordered. I didnât want to keep the ones we werenât going to really enjoy. She looked at me and said âI donât know what you want. I mean I guess just look for the one that looks lighter and thatâs probably the one with the vanillaâ. I said âthey look the sameâ. She then points to one and says âI would guess this one has the vanilla but thereâs nothing else I can do for youâ. I told her I was shocked at her customer service (especially for a Dutch Employee). My daughter worked for Dutch in Arizona and Iâm a regular customer so Iâm well aware of how they âshouldâ treat customers and what they âshouldâ do when they mess up, make a mistake or have a displeased customer. The barista then just looked at me (I honestly thought she would fix this mess I had) and said âwell I would say the lighter one has vanilla. Thereâs nothing else I can say or do. Have a nice nightâ. With her hand ready to just close the window on me, I was literally in tears and just picked up our drinks and sadly walked back to my car and told my husband they wouldnât fix it and we can attempt to enjoy whatever they gave us. Needless to say neither of us drank more than 3 more sips Therefore a complete waste of time, gas money (around $17!), & our Friday afternoon with our daughters. Iâm really disappointed and we wonât ever go back to the Dutch Bros on Russell Spring in Bowling Green, KY. I genuinely hope that in the future, if they choose to skip the step of writing which drink is which on the cup, that at minimum, the employees, let their customers know when handing them their drinks. Iâm just so bummed out after very much looking forward to our trip there. Photo to show there is no way we could tell by the color...
Read moreI orderd the mangonada rebel with no Tajin and a small cotton candy milkshake frappe thing with oat milk. The first time they made my mangonada rebel they in fact added the Tajin on top so I politely asked them to remake it. They were not too happy about it but gave it to me âwithout the Tajinâ I took two sips and realized there is still Tajin in the second remake of the drink just at the very bottom. The cotton candy milkshake was barley blended so I just drank the flavoring and oat milk and threw it out along with the second remake of the mangonada rebel. Thatâs like $12 down the drain. I canât do anything remotely spicy so Iâm having to drive around town trying to find something to make it stop burning my throat. There is a reason why I asked...
