Pino's is a delightful Italian restaurant with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. It may not look like much from the outside, but inside youāll find a clean, inviting little restaurant with a wonderful staff and tasty food that will blow your mind.
Whenever my husband and I visit, he chooses the meat lover's Stromboli or pizza. My favorite pizzas are La Bianca, Hawaiian, and their customized pizza option. My nephew is a fan of their pepperoni pizza; he also introduced me to another favorite of his: steak pizza with Alfredo sauce. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it!
The food is outstanding, but what truly sets Pino's apart is their staff. They are warm and accommodating, and they never fail to go above and beyond to ensure we have a fantastic experience. Miguel, the manager, is a joy; we canāt help but break into huge smiles when we see him! He greets us with a warm handshake and smile at every visit, and indulges us in pleasant conversation when he has a moment. Miguel is interesting to speak with on top of being personable, kind, genuine, and hardworking. He goes above and beyond to make sure our dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. He not only keeps our drinks topped off and ensures our food is to our liking, but he also shows real interest in us as people. We know when his day off is, so we force our pizza cravings to coincide with his shifts. A visit to Pinoās just wouldnāt be the same without Miguel!
An interesting feature about the establishment is that it occupies the same building as a gas station. It's pretty remarkable how they have made the most of the space to create an efficient, visually appealing layout. They keep their clean, well-stocked restroom locked with a key behind the bar, as well as large signs hung on the doors to remind forgetful people (like myself!) to ask for the key.
Because they share a building with a gas station, parking is not hard to come by. IIrc there is a defunct Pizza Hut next door with additional parking. Pinoās offers outdoor seating on their patio, tho we havenāt used it ourselves.
Pino's has become our go-to place when weāre in the mood for pizza prepared by someone else. Since we're usually careful with our spending, dining out is a rare treat for us. But when that pizza craving hits, Pino's is the only place we want to go. While there are other restaurants that offer delicious pizza, Pino's has an irresistible charm. The flavors are exceptional, and having a friendly, hardworking staff that makes you feel like theyāre happy to see you is a definite plus. A manager like Miguel is reason alone to go back. I wholeheartedly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe eat at Pino's regularly. Tonight we sat down and was handed 1 menu for 5 people, mind you there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant and 1 of which had already ordered. We were served 2 orders of Toasted Ravioli that were burnt, as if they had been cooked, sat in the window and thrown back in the deep fryer to heat up and were served to us. Both orders were hard and when bit into the cheese had even hardened. When I sat them on the bar the Manager, I'm assuming, was very rude. Asked me what the problem was, I said they are burnt and I'm not paying for this, she saw nothing wrong. I told her they had either been cooked multiple times or had been fried in dirty grease. She immediately had an attitude and began speaking to someone in the back in Spanish as she walked away. I had to ask if the order was going to be remade and she never answered. About 10 minutes later, 2 fresh orders were delivered. Our main entrees were advertised with bread, when we asked for the bread after having our food for 20 minutes the same Manager rolled her eyes and rudely presented us with 1 order instead of the 2 we should of received. We had a to-go order as well, it was taken and yelled back to us as she didn't remember in the 5 steps to the computer what had been ordered. When I say we were highly disappointed, it's an understatement. This Manager or whomever she is needs to realize her establishment is in a small town, where rude gets you no where. We won't...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePinoās has been my pizza place for yearsā¦.not anymore. Today, around 2:30, I went in to dine and chow down on some white pizza. This has been my usual order and it is always good. On this occasion, I order the white pizza and it looks odd. It is basically pizza dough, with some patches of ricotta cheese and crushed garlic. Where is the mozzarella cheese? The waitress looked embarrassed when she set it on my table. She saw my reaction and politely took it back to the kitchen. Next thing I hear is the angry yelling from the kitchen, something along the lines of āthatās how itās madeā! She asked him to please put cheese on the pizza. Needless to say, they made a new pizza and it sucked. The server was awesome and I left a good tip. The kitchen staff are amateurs, rude and donāt have a clue. Iāve had hundreds of white pizzas and have never seen garbage like this before. Pinoās, we had a good run but Iām over you. I will go to the other local establishment and get treated like a valued customer. Pinoās has become true gas station pizza with employees...
