My sister, Linda Murphy, does not do Facebook so I'm posting this on her behalf. As many of you know, on November 15th, 2023, her husband, H.B. Murphy suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. There was a lot going on at that time, with ambulance, first responders, coroner, funeral home and vehicles belonging to family and friends crowding the street of Lynnwood at their home, enough so that the staff from Providence Coffee House and Market Place located at 3031 Nashville Road in Bowling Green noticed. A young lady from Providence Coffee House came walking up the yard carrying a big box of assorted sandwiches stating, " they had noticed a lot going on at this residence and just wanted to do something so they were providing sandwiches because they know in times like these people forget to eat." My sister explained to her that she had just lost her husband. This sweet young lady then hugged my sister, gave her condolences and talked with Linda a bit before returning to work. On behalf of the entire family we just want to give credit and recognition to such a kind and thoughtful gesture in time of need provided by Providence Coffee House & Market Place. Please, if you are in need of a cup of coffee, specialty breakfast or pick-me up drink, pastry, breakfast or lunch sandwich, please keep them in mind. Providence Coffee House & Market Place, again, we just want to thank you so much for showing such kindness. It will forever...

I'm a black coffee drinker and this is the best coffee I have ever tasted. It's made with organic coffee beans locally roasted by Ridley Roasthouse right here in Bowling Green. The flavor is excellent and doesn't come with a bitter aftertaste.

You have a variety of breakfast sandwiches that are served either on a biscuit or a croissant. Although I have always preferred biscuit breakfast sandwiches, the croissant breakfast sandwich has become my new favorite. They are large sandwiches and very filling.

I've tried every lunch item sandwich and they are all very tasty. From the spaghetti sandwich to their paninis. The Zookeeper Panini has become my favorite.

One of the unique things about Providence is how they're helping to expand the market potential of other small businesses in Bowling Green such as Ridley's Roasthouse, Little Fox Bakery, and Mary Jane's Chocolates. You can find all of their products at Providence.

The service is excellent and the environment inside the coffee house is very relaxing. Highly...

My friend recommended this place for the food, so I went and gave it a try a few days ago. I wasn't going to leave a review but I finally thought about it and decided I should let you guys know. The food was amazing I ordered a BEC and one of their cronuts. They were both really good... My problem was the customer service. I was assisted by a young lady with black hair she seemed to have her hair in a bun. She appeared to be in her mid 20s.. Anyways, she had the rudest attitude while talking to me. Her attitude made it seem like she didn't want to be there. I chose to ignore her attitude and be the better person..She was probably the owners daughter. Then I decided to smile and ask how the employee was and she had the same nasty look on her face and flat out rolled her eyes at me. She had black curly hair up in a claw clip and wore glasses. I hope you do something with this...

Came here for coffee and internet 🤣🤣 since we are traveling. The store is very cute, stocked with local products and cozy decor. I was surprised to find the “barista” is a little girl aged no more than 14. And while we were there I saw her handling business like a real deal, she was answering calls, checking inventories and all other stuff like this is her show, kudos to her! I got my go to Breve Latte, it’s not bad, but I am torn when I see coffee shop using automatic espresso machines. I understand that why you get consistent results, so easy even a cave man can do, but for me it takes away the need of craftsmanship of a barista, that’s what make people like me appreciate a good cup of espresso drink.

Providence has done a great job with this coffee house. I liked the customer interaction with the staff and owner. I liked the look of the place and the surprise sitting area in the back. Large offering of baked goods and sandwiches. Beanery area that you can bag your own coffee beans. They make flavored teas and most any coffee you can imagine. I don't drink coffee but the jasmine green tea and lemonade was great. Typical large amounts of butter in croissant so be ready for that. Bacon was delicious and the beanhead muffin is decadent. I like how it was served warm! Overall, a great first trip to Providence Coffee House.

I was severely underwhelmed the first time I came here. I went back today (with no notice) and was greeted by friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere with soft music. The iced mocha is a perfect balance of sweet and bitter. The brownie stuffed cookie is to die for tbh. They are a small business that also sells other items, such as jam and decor, from local merchants. I assume I just went here on a bad day the first time, which happens. I have updated my review and I do recommend trying them out. #supportlocal
