Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Bowling Green

The wait at the drive thru was ridiculously long "15-20 min" considering it was me and one other person in line. And to top it off i got the big hungry meal and 3 of the 5 "supposed to be 6" strips i got were half a strip. The toast was literally burnt, and my fries were cold..... To top it all off, they are giving out these dipping sauces that they are making themselves and they aren't even half full. And about as big around as a silver dollar. And with my meal they gave me 2 of these puny little things for what was supposed to be 6 strips... And i was charged $14 and some change.... This economy has created some bad restaurants and unfortunately this place could have been a good place to eat but the service, quality, and attention to detail does not match the price point at all. I won't be going back. And before you say that it was a one time event... No this was actually their 5th, yes 5th with me. Twice i ate in and wasn't impressed, and 2 other times in the drive thru. I had the new Dill Chicken Sandwich and was a little disappointed. It was good, but there was barely any Dill sauce on the sandwich, and the chicken was smaller than the bun as opposed to the advertising pictures showing a much bigger chicken breast. The Fries were very salty, almost hard to eat. My wife liked the Chicken Club with fried pickles, both of which were good. I also had the salted Carmel cookie dough shake, which was not as good as expected as I couldn't taste any salted caramel or cookie dough and the shake seemed thinner than normal shakes. It did have good vanilla flavor but that was the extent of it. Customer service, cashier, was lackluster and not at all welcoming. I used to only give franchises a max of 4 stars, but this place was too good for that! The staff was wonderful and attentive, we got our dine-in order in two parts, but nothing was missed and it was a very short wait with an appropriate time given, no one can ask for more. My daughter had the Cayenne Ranch sandwich and I don't believe I've seen her eat a sandwich faster, she reported it was very good. I ordered the smokey cheddar and buffalo chicken wraps and we both had the fried mushrooms. There is no way those mushrooms weren't frozen, but they were the best I've ever had.
