Let me tell you about my recent experience at Popeye's because I am struggling to make sense of this. I went to the Popeye's located on Nashville Rd. at approx 6:30 pm today. I ordered a 3 piece (dark) combo and two 4 piece (dark) combos. I was informed that they could not give me dark meat on my second 4 piece but could give me something else in exchange for it. Now the reason I could not get my second 4 piece combo all in dark was because, "there wouldn't be enough for everyone else." I ask," Are you simply out of dark meat or will you have to drop more?" She responds that it's neither of those. Never have I EVER had an issue with ordering this exact meal in the past. Why now? At this point I am confused and frustrated. I tell her to just cancel the entire order. I drive off. Shortly after leaving Popeye's (and calming down!) I decide to call and ask to speak with a manager because it's just not sitting right with me. The manager recognized my voice from being at the drive-thru. She then tries to explain to me that the ultimate reason she could not give me what I originally wanted was because it would mess up the counts. She had already done the counts on the chicken for the night. Are you kidding me? Talk about blood was boiling and if I could have turned red, I would've. Now correct me if I am missing something here. I ask, "Are you serious? You don't close until 9." She simply apologizes. I ask for a corporate number. She asks if I have a receipt. No, of course not! I cancelled my order remember? She informs me that the number should be on there somewhere (also let it be known that there is NO number anywhere on the receipt to reach corporate!) and outside of that she has no clue! To put the icing on the cake, she proceeds to say, "I just work here!" This has got to be a joke! I don't EVER leave reviews but this was unacceptable customer service and so very unprofessional! I can't help but to think that the manager (didn't get her name) was simply too lazy to redo whatever counts that probably should've waited to be done a little closer to closing anyways. Get it together Popeye's! I was however, able to go to the website and request someone give me a call back at their earliest convenience! I will be passing this horrible experience on!

Read moreListen I dont ever leave reviews on fast food lol, especially negative ones but lord have mercy this place deserves it. We got here, noone inside eating/waiting before us, and it still took over a half hour to get our food. The manager had to be bothered for a moment to come help the kid who took our order and the lady literally said "im hiding" and then went back to hiding. Every human inside this building looked lost and confused. The entire eating area was nasty, sticky, dirty, and had garage and crumbs on each table. Not a single clean spot to sit, and again we were the only people in there so it wasn't like they were busy. Finally got food and it was wrong, but the worst part was biting into a ROTTEN jalapeno. I cant put in words how disgusting it was, im talking R-O-T-T-E-N. I went to the bathroom before we left and an employee had just got done, and couldnt figure out the sink. Mind blowing. I said girl there's a censor... and she said "I can never get it to work" as though its a common practice to not wash her hands in there. There was FECAL MATTER AND BLOOD on the toilet. Again, a staff member was just in there, clueless as to how to wash her hands, and walked out after I walked in KNOWING that there was fecal matter and blood in there. I couldnt be more happy to get out of there lol I was floored. And the manager stuck true to her word to her staff, and stayed in hiding. I didnt bother saying anything to any of them about my experience there because every single employee in there knew they were operating in absolute filth but not a single one of them cared. Read moreAfter my son’s football we stop in at the Nashville road location and was told that they only had 6 wings up and we would have to wait for any other food. I told the woker that fine. I order 2 classic wraps , the sandwich combo large and another sandwich. When I pulled to the window the lady working the window handed me my drink and I realize it was small and when I said it was suppose to be large the drink spilled on me , she said she hear small, and that she would have to charge me and I said that’s fine, when she handed me the large drink she spilled it over me because she didn’t secure the lid, when I asked for napkins. Once I arrived home my wraps were made with spicy meat. I called the location and asked for the manager and was told she was in the bathroom but she could help me , told her what the problem was and she then proceeded to tell me she knew who I was because she stated I was rude at the window, I then asked for the GM number and was told she was in vacation, then asked for the district or area manager and she said I would have to call back in 2 weeks. This was on 8/23/25 at 10:30pm I don’t know who the girl is that was working but she really needs to be taught customer service.
