Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Bowling Green

I absolutely LOVE gelati, more specifically Rita's!! I was introduced to her when I lived in Atlanta, so I was a little disappointed when there wasn't one in (or close to) Bowling Green, but fast forward to October 2021...a sign...no, really a sign that read Rita's now open 😊 I was beyond excited!! My favorite combo--Italian ice and custard were reunited again, and I could enjoy every delicious bite.The husband-wife team (David and Erin) are the nicest people!!! This is my family's new go to for a sweet treat. We have been multiple times and always recieved great service. The selection is wonderful and they are always switching up the flavors. I'm also always impressed with how clean the shop is. Even if the line is long they seem to move super quick. Definitely a must try. Sooo good. I did read some of the other reviews and noticed slight complaints on having young workers. Ive never had to wait long and while the employees seem a bit young they have always been polite and never hesitate to offer samples and answer questions. For us it seems to have better service than most places...

Terrible customer service, was evident the workers were all children. Walked in with my girlfriend, was said nothing to nor greeted. It then becomes evident the workers are looking, pointing, and laughing right in front of our faces while we were looking at the menu. We then proceed to walk out and the workers say something. Then, we were getting ready to leave and in my car and they start waving. Just terrible and immature. First time ever being here and will probably not come...
