Whenever I am in town, I usually make it my treat to come here. A couple months ago, I got the snow crab legs and the food was not good. It wasn’t seasoned well or like I normally get it. I figured it was a one time bad experience and decided to not complain, then.
Today, I treated my dad and myself to crab legs. I paid close to $70 for both meals. My dads dish was seasoned great and was full of flavor. Mine however, again was not…and this time I decided I would say something. I called the restaurant to explain what happened. Over the phone, the woman lead me to believe that she would replace the meal with a new seafood bag. I drove 15 min back to the restaurant. Upon arriving, the woman accused me of eating half of the bag, which was not true. When I received the bag, it was cold, lacked flavor, and many of the crab legs were missing. I told her that it didn’t make sense for me to stop eating my meal to complain and then drive all the way back here, if I had eaten all of the meal. When we told her how displeased we were and that we were insulted that we would be accused of this, she answered the phone and shushed us with her finger. It was very disrespectful and I not only felt unheard, but mislead and mistreated.
As a paying customer who has given this restaurant much business overtime, my family and I have decided we will not be dining here again. I will be sure to tell others about how I was treated here tonight as well. Customers should not experience what I went through tonight.
UPDATED RESPONSE: I had trouble relying to your response, so I will update this post instead. Thank you for taking the time to respond. My father and I spoke to a women there who claimed to be the manager and owner two days ago by the name of Emma about our concerns. After reporting and being accused of stealing, my mother tried to call to reason again and was hung up on twice. Due to our experience we went to a competitor to satisfy our craving. I do not feel comfortable providing my email publicly, but if there is corporate number or email that can be provided so that I may speak to someone privately,...
Read moreDO NOT EVER GO HERE!!! HORRIBLE!!! TRIED TO STEAL MY CREDIT CARD!!
Starting out: Our waiter was rude and very unprofessional. Then our food was cold and the seafood boil that we got the food was old you could taste the seafood was old (I’m not expecting fresh fresh seafood because we’re not by the ocean but I am also not expecting something that taste like it’s been in a hot pot of water for the past three days). We asked to get a refill but we could not get a refill on our drinks (our waiter was to busy flirting) the staff was very rude there was not even a full restaurant. Then when we went to the restroom there were many profanities all over the restrooms. The restrooms are not clean they were gross dirty gross! When we got our ticket (they added a tip in we were only a party of two mind you...they supposedly only added for groups of six or more) our waiter threw it on the table and stood there gasping and rolling his eyes at us while I was getting my card out. He walks over to the counter and swipes the card then try’s walking to the back of the restaurant with my card with his phone out taking a picture. We asked for the card back and they say they don’t have it. Took over ten minutes to get my card back while there’s at least six other cards laying on...
Read moreOctober 15 started out as a joyous day. Birds were singing and a birthday celebration was in full swing.
A dozen oysters were ordered.
The birthday celebrant was excited and selected the perfect oyster from the boat.
Once in the mouth a sudden move for a napkin was made to expel the rotten, smelly oyster.
The entire boat was rotten and removed before the celebrants could go into an rotten oyster frenzy.
After cleaning the palate the birthday child continued eating his ordered meal.
Fast forward to 3am the next night/ morning, the poor victim of the oyster and bacteria poisoning episode began to worship the porcelain fixture.
Prescribed medicines were need to quash the oyster control havoc on our human specimen.
We are now 5 days post juicy seafoods and side effects linger in the intestinal track of our saddened birthday child.
Tip - oysters are not for landlocked states to serve at juicy seafoods
Tip - please train staff to sniff out the bad oysters prior to...
