Duffy's Sports Grill — Restaurant in Boynton Beach

Absolutely the worst service in the history of service!! I tried five times over a three month period to place the same order, I tried multiple times because this Duffy's in located next to the gym I work out at. First try to order a turkey burger with cheese - I attempted to eat in, waited 45 minutes after ordering for the food to come out and what was brought to my table by the server was not even close to a turkey burger with cheese. I sent it back and left. (keep in mind that never once during any of my attempts to get food there was the place every busy, actually it was the complete opposite every time - almost empty) Time 2 - I phoned in the same order (always the same order). I was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I showed up 35 minutes later to pick it up and it wasn't ready. I was told the order was lost and it would be another 20-25. I again left without ever receiving the food that I ordered. TImes 3-4 - I walked in and placed a to go order and waited, both times I was 20 minutes. One time I waited 40 minutes and then when the food came out it was again NOT what I ordered. I waited another 28 minutes from them to bring me the correct order. That is over an hour to get what I ordered. Next visit - I again walked in and placed the order, was told 20 minutes and the food would be ready. I walked down the plaza to Publix to pick something up and returned 25 minutes later to no food. Waited another 30 minutes before the food was ready. The final time (which happened yesterday) I walked in at 1:00PM on the dot and placed the same order as all the other times (turkey burger with cheese, no bun, nothing but the burger and cheese). The manager took my order, I instructed the manager to please put the order in NOW and that I would be back in about 30 minutes to pick it up. I was going next door to the gym and on a tight schedule and needed to workout, then just pick up my food and go. I returned to Duffy's at 1:58. When I walked in I saw that no order was sitting there waiting for me where the take-out orders are normally left. I then stood and waited at the door for another 10 minutes before the manager shows up and tells me "1 minute" and goes back to the kitchen. He then returns 7 minutes later and tells me "1 minute" and begins a conversation with someone sitting there in a booth. After 4 minutes I interrupt their conversation and ask where my food is. He replies "they are making it now". I lost my mind!!! Would have been a viral Tik Tok video if anyone was filming - he (the manager) had a bunch of excuses as to why the order wasn't ready- one being that it was ready after 5 minutes but when the food got cold he threw it away to make me another order........ etc, etc - you get the point. Horrible service! Horrible manager!!! I will NEVER step foot in there again and neither should you if you are reading this.

I would like to first say that we absolutely love Duffys, just not this one ! My husband, myself and my best friend with her family went to this Duffy’s location to celebrate her husbands 67th birthday. I want to start this out with two positives. The hostess was very welcoming and warm. The manager was helpful in the very beginning! We have been MVP members for 13 years and this is the first time and the last time we will ever go to this location. Our server whether she was new or not was absolutely terrible!!! We ordered drinks and they were not received! Our food took over an hour and 10 minutes to come out and it was terrible! Fries cold, dripping burgers with oil, tacos cold! It was my friends’ husbands birthday! They took the cake and brought it in the back and said they would bring it out. Our server forgot about it after 1hr 40 minutes and never brought it out! Instead she brought the check and asked us if we were ready to leave. we had to remind her about the cake ! Then when she did bring the cake out the server never said happy birthday just drop the cake down and said I have the top! She didn’t offer to cut anything didn’t pass out plates nothing!! I know this review sounds harsh, but this is exactly how it went down. The server was absolutely terrible then when the manager came to bring the second Miller light after having to ask for it an hour and 10 minutes after the first one! I told him that I had ordered a Cosmo and never got it and he said OK I’ll be right back and never came back. I never got my Cosmo ! This is the manager no less.! we also had to clear off our own plates and put them on another table so that we would have room for the cake. They sat at the table along with three other tables full of dirty plates from other customers just as frustrated as us!! After two hours and 15 minutes, we finally got and paid our bill and left!!! this was the first time and the very last time we will be at...

I visited Duffy’s on Sunday, May 25 around 8:30 PM, and to say this was the worst Duffy’s experience I’ve ever had would be an understatement.

From the moment we arrived, the service was disappointing. It took several minutes for our server to even acknowledge our table. When we finally got our drinks (lemonade and root beer), they were completely flat and tasteless—no sugar, no fizz, just unpleasant. We ordered a beer for the other person in our party, which took 10 minutes to arrive, but thankfully, that was at least decent.

We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer, which didn’t arrive until 30 minutes later. At that point, we politely asked the manager to check on our food, and her response was shockingly unprofessional and dismissive. It’s one thing to be running behind, but to be met with attitude when trying to understand the delay was unacceptable.

What made the experience worse was the fact that the restaurant was practically empty—maybe a handful of tables at most. Despite this, a party of two who arrived after us received their drinks and full meals before we even saw our food. We waited well over an hour from the time we ordered to the time our entrées arrived.

My family and I are longtime fans of Duffy’s, but after two consistently poor visits to this location, we won’t be returning. It’s clear there’s a serious issue with the management and customer service here. We weren’t the only table frustrated—others around us seemed just as disappointed, and rightfully so.
