I wish i could give ratings in different categories. This was a favorite Sunday morning spot for my wife and me. With new ownership came a couple new employees, one if which is a younger woman with a serious attitude problem. Since shes the one who seats you and takes your drink order, it can seriously sour your whole experience if you are unfortunate enough to interact with her. Instead of answering a very simple question, she cut off my wife mid sentence, demanding her drink order. We had literally just sat down. If not for our very kind waitress, I would have happily walked out and over come back because of that young woman's rudeness. In a place that is praised for its friendly neighborhood feel, this sort of stuck up attitude is extremely out of place.

The hugh grill blueberry muffin that was order from a bakery has been changed to some mini supermarket blueberries not to good. The natural orange juice was changed to concentrate juice gross! The corn beaf hash was smaller than usually. My favorite is the waffle with fruits, this time they barely gave me any fruit. The service was very slow because they only had two waiters taking care of the restaurant on a Sunday morning full with customers, they were great but there's just so much two people can do! It seems like this new owner is cutting on prices and messing around with the quality of food!!! I'm a big believer that if it's not broken don't fix it!!!! Special with food!!!! Read moreWe come here all the time and the servers are always so sweet! Today Cheryl was our server and she was a rockstar, totally killed it, serving 8 tables and 4 people at the bar by herself!! Our only gripe about Green Owl Diner is that there’s always a young kid here that it seems like he’s supposed to be helping but he stands around and only helps when it’s glaringly obvious he needs to. I hope the servers don’t have to share the tips with him because I’m assuming he’s the owners son or something but he could be WAY more helpful.
