We decided to give Ed's Tavern 64 in Bradenton, FL a try since we had a coupon, and it was not too far from us. We ate there yesterday- Thursday- 5/29/25. We were very disappointed with this restaurant. It was more of a sports bar than a restaurant with a bar. It was so loud in there- the music was way too loud, they had a few TVs at the bar, and everyone trying to have conversations over all that made it even louder. I had to ask 4 times for the music to be turned down. Each time I did, it was turned down a little, then someone turned it back up. The 4th time I told the manager, and he did turn it down on his hand-held device, however shortly after it was turned back up and trivia night was starting. The food was priced decently, however the quality was not very good. I ordered the Salmon, and it was overcooked- very dry and the portion was not that big, and the mashed potatoes were dry and did not have much flavor at all. I told the manager, who was nice and apologized, and he did take it off my bill, as I could not wait for another piece to be cooked as the music was so loud and obnoxious. We just wanted to get the bill paid and get out of there. the other dishes that were ordered was the teriyaki chicken- had good flavor, however not enough sauce and it was also a little dry; my mother asked for more sauce, and never got it. My brother got the brisket, which he said was okay- it was in small pieces- not how brisket is usually served. We tried the street corn dip with tortilla chips for an appetizer. It was not very good, and the portion of corn dip was small- not very much at all to share. There were plenty of chips, and they were good. We would have much rather had a bowl of beer cheese with the chips instead. It would be a good idea if Ed's offered the beer cheese with chips as an appetizer. We had no idea it was going to be loud with music, tv's at the bar, and then this man who started some music, Trivia. He was way too loud and turned the music up louder. Not what you expect at dinner. We know now, and will not be going back there, as the food was not that good to deal with the way too loud, obnoxious music, that you can barely hear the waitress or have a conversation with your family/friends which is what you expect to do...

My husband and I visit this establishment quite a bit to meet up wish some friends to watch games or whatever. We've never had a bad experience. This time we went our bartender Alina (I hope I speeled her name correctly) made it more enjoyable than any other time we have been there. Alina went above and beyond to help me find something on the menu due to my diet restrictions. Her bubbly personality, sense of humor, and lovely smile made my lunch experience EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE! Most restaurants I go to, the waitresses act like I'm an inconvenience and she did not make me feel that way at all. I enjoyed my time with family and friends all the while devouring the delicious lunch she helped me find. It was a wonderful experience and we will be back as long as we are able to have Alina serve us. The world needs more people like her! Keep up the great work Alina! My only complaint would be that management should turn the ac temperature up! I always bring a sweater and still freeze in there! We don't go as often as we used to for this reason. I didn't mention anything to Alina because she was extremely busy and I didn't want to bother with my pettiness. I'll bring my gloves or something next time and if that doesn't work, I will speak to...

I recently visited Ed’s Tavern’s new location on SR64, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the vibrant atmosphere and the friendly staff. But what truly made my visit exceptional was Victoria, the most amazing bartender I’ve ever encountered.

Victoria’s warm personality and impeccable service truly set Ed’s Tavern apart. She made me feel like a valued guest, not just a customer. Her drink recommendations were spot on, and her mixology skills are second to none. I used to frequent the ale house down the road, but after experiencing Victoria’s hospitality, I’m a dedicated fan of Ed’s Tavern now.

The food was fantastic as well – delicious and perfectly prepared. The entire staff deserves kudos for their attentiveness and professionalism. Ed’s Tavern has become my new go-to spot, and Victoria is a big reason why this place is so amazing. If you’re looking for a great place to eat, drink, and enjoy top-notch service, look no further than Ed’s Tavern on SR64!

Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience, Victoria and the entire team at Ed’s Tavern! Keep up the...

Ed’s tavern should be advertised as a bar/night club with how loud the music played. Sitting at a table with 5 others, I couldn’t even hear the two furthest people in our group. The loud music made it intolerable to try to have a conversation. The food is absolutely cooked in a microwave. I am assuming it only tastes “good” if you are drunk. This is a place to drink, not to eat. We ordered the shareable pretzels (only good thing on the menu), the nachos, and the corn dogs which were definitely frozen. Wings and burger were subpar, but what was the WORST ITEM was the grilled cheese. How you can mess up a grilled cheese is beyond me. Seems like it was premade, left in the freezer, then reheated in the microwave. I kid you not, you could barely take a bite of it. Do not order it. The only option here is to drink, get drunk, and get shareable apps. If you want to go to a sports bar, Miller’s Ale House is a much better option.

Four of us sat on the patio facing the parking lot. 4:30 pm - busier as time passed, but seats were available. Comfortable seating, nice to have the open air setting. Service was great, personable and fast. Food was served relatively quickly based on how busy they were. I had a blackened Mahi sandwich. It was delicious, but not very blackened (only negative). Bottomless nachos and salsa were delicious as well, chips not very salty which is an added bonus. My wife had the rice bowl with chicken and she enjoyed it. Overall a nice option for a casual dinner with friends. Reasonably priced for the quality ($30 pp incl tip). Lots of sports selections on various televisions.

Went with my wife tonight on date night, after trivia. Parking was scarse but we managed. Place was full and loud. I ordered their quesozilla burger. My wife ordered the French dip. I asked for it medium and it came out like a hocky puck. It looked like a small frozen patty you get from Costco. The burger was slapped together. No seasoning and they were skimpy on the fries. My wifes sandwhich was bland and the au ju was just beef broth. Only things decent was the French fries. I gave it 2 stars since the over worked servers was doing their best to be diligent and attentive (gave her a good tip). Better off going to Miller's Ale house
